A great performance by one of the leading guitarists and rock legends of our time! I managed to see the Byrds live at a concert in East Orange, NJ way back in 1970. The group did a memorable show of all their rock standards and then did an a cappella rendition of "Amazing Grace" which brought the house down. McGuinn still sounds so fresh and vital today, still exploring new areas yet finding great joy in the body of work he has fashioned over 5 decades. Folk-rock and country-rock forever!

Where was this show?

He played this concert in Portland, Oregon at the Alladin Theater. It was a very good concert by a legendary performer in a great intimate venue.

Hey! Just got back from the show...just fantasic!
I was in complete awe of him being in the room.
12 string Rickenbacker heaven.
I'm playing a Byrds compilation album while my girlfriend's putting together a Byrds/ Roger McGuinn collage.
Loved it!

You'll be impressed, and if you're like me, in awe of being in the room with an icon.
Your E-mail arrived to me while the Byrds were on the radio singing Turn, Turn Turn... no kidding. Coincidence perhaps?
Enjoy!
