Yes I read that. When the staion was purchased by CBS/Viacom, it went to hell in a handbasket. I enjoyed it more when it was owned by Westinghouse and was an NBC Affiliate. I liked the 4 logo, was unique.
First of all, Schwegoler hasn't been at the station since about 2000, and this clip dates back to about 1983 or so..but I see what poster #2 is saying. These personalities were still there pretty much until recently. The only ones still working in the same capacity are Jack Williams (only on early evening newscasts) and Bob Lobel. Liz Walker's only contribution to Channel 4 nowadays is her Sunday morning talk show.

I think it was until WHDH Channel 7 stormed forward to the Top after Sunbeam Purchased the Station and revamped its newscast.

I miss Channel 4 and its old glory days. I liked the old "4" logo they had. I do not know why they did away with that.
