Boy, I was impressed to hear this band and it sounds very similar to the old Mucc, I love and adore to MUCC, but I think this band q is also good although it sounds like is different, each has his own vocals. I think I have another band I like.
@TH8911: deal with it. Everyone will be comparing bands. Some for purpose to make people angry and others are just expressing their opinion. But that kind of people like you who think they're better because they wrote "don't compare.. blah blah" are most irritating. If you have problem with everything that some weaboos wrote I think internet is not for you.
Can't everyone just enjoy the damn bands they want to without comparing them all the time? Like when people say "Oh, Mucc is not the same anymore their style is different. I want the old stuff." Who cares! At least they evolve and not play the same type of thing over and over again. Just enjoy their old stuff and the new.

I wouldn't say they sound "very much" like Mucc. Though the sound is somewhat similiar, most their songs are not very Mucc at all. I love Mucc, especially the olds, and M can't really compete with Mucc. Probably never can.
True, the band DOES sound somewhat like old MUCC... but like Nathy said, I can still love both bands. Each of them has its own style, there's no copycat here. If you really sit down and listen, you'll always be able to tell them apart.
So maybe Masakazu looks up to MUCC and Tatsuro, who knows? I still think M sounds AWESOME, no matter what anyone says. Because they do. And SO WHAT if they sound similar to old MUCC? They are still not the same band.

you're right. he moves like tatsurou, how can that be? I mean you could think that they copy (the older) mucc. that's scary, his voice, his moves...the music ist nice, yes because it sounds like mucc. even the breathing in the song, that's like tatsurou did it in some songs. I don't know what I shall think of this band...I don't like a copy of my favourite band mucc, but they sound great. If this is their own style it's really great, but if they just copy it it's bad...

@Gravegun i went to their live some six months ago in osaka, unfortunately they weren't as good live. it was an energetic, hysteric classic visual kei playlist.. not anything like this song. however it was just a short live and not a oneman so i hope to catch them again soon, hopefully they'll show more of what they got!

I agree MUCC has changed, but I personally think they're still much better than bands like Avenged Sevenfold. If they hadn't evolved that much musically, I think I would not like them as much as I do now. I'm glad they have experimented varied styles and got a neat sound with time. I respect them for being able to do this. And for the vocoder; I hate that too =/ but so far I only heard it in Sora to Ito and another unreleased song. Let's hope they won't use it too much in their next releases.

check out two of their older songs, they're here on youtube.. 黒い石榴 (kuroi zakuro), それと共に (sore to tomo ni), from the "kuroi zakuro" single (2007). they both sound awful. guess they shaped in 2008!

you're right. he moves like tatsurou, how can that be? I thought the same, actually. We don't need two Muccs. But the songs are good, still I think they should somehow find their own style, if not musicially, then at least in not copying every move (in case they do which I don't say and I hope they don't.)

OMG! You are totally right about it sounding really like MUCC.
The singer in M, his voice is just a little lower and when he sings higher it's a little less high, but none the less.
God his voice is so sexy. !RAWR! I'm so amazed at how they sound. Thanks so much of posting this video.
