If you could get it to 250mph u would hold the record by 20mph!! FYI the other bike was a super fixed up 650cc. Gearing is one thing having enough power is another. The faster you go the heavier you become so u need twice or more hp to from 150mph to 200mph.

Bikes are fast... but some cars are faster... M6 should have no problem taking GSXR1000 at top speed... My gsxr1000 - 2002 with 152RWHP has no limiter and while it is quick it will only hit about 300km/h... The 2005/6 are a bit faster but not much... After 300km/h you need LOTS of HP... Raced a Lambo one day... I was ahead till about 200km/h by the time I was at 260 he started to walk away and there was nothing I or my friends could do...

If you would drive 230 or 240 km/h you would certainly NOT pass by the M6. The car in this vid easly goes beyond 250 km/h. Although it is standard fitted with a speedlimiter on 250 km/h most cars still have a margin of 10/15 km/h beyond that. And off course there are many german tuners that can remove this limiters as well.
