Well I wish someone had told me they were passionate about being a cover band. In light of this news, you might also want to check out Jerry and his Brothers, who do some really inspired, highly stylized Southern rock covers of contemporary hits. Like Pomplamoose, every song pretty much sounds the same and like Pomplamoose, they seem to mostly appeal to the Evangelical crowd. Check them out at the Arkansas State Fair. But hurry, seats are limited. Literally; there are 3 seats.
I understand why people hate on this band so much. Nowadays, not many people do like the idea of an indie jazz duo. But I respect them for following their passion and sharing it with those who can relate to them. I believe Nataly Dawn is simply brilliant. Her sweet yet awkward(in a good way) look and strange melodies are really brought out in their videos. Her singing is really amazing as well. Also, they have so much fun with it, you can tell. They're very creative and not fake at all.
I get it now. They may look manufactured and conniving, but in fact it's pure sincerity. It's practically an accident they're splattered all over youtube and television. Now I love them. How do you delete a video in youtube?
This band sucks. I hate that car commercial. In absolute honestly I was conisdering buying a Hyundai until I saw/listened to their garbage "Up on the Housetop" rendition. I'd rather ride a bike to work than give my money to a car company that would promote these worthless losers.

I understand why people hate on this band so much. Nowadays, not many people do like the idea of an indie jazz duo. But I respect them for following their passion and sharing it with those who can relate to them. I believe Nataly Dawn is simply brilliant. Her sweet yet awkward(in a good way) look and strange melodies are really brought out in their videos. Her singing is really amazing as well. Also, they have so much fun with it, you can tell. They're very creative and not fake at all.

This band sucks. I hate that car commercial. In absolute honestly I was conisdering buying a Hyundai until I saw/listened to their garbage "Up on the Housetop" rendition. I'd rather ride a bike to work than give my money to a car company that would promote these worthless losers.

This band really irks me as well. I hate the way she sings, it seems hackneyed to me. I might draw some comparisons to Feist, Imogen Heap, and Erin McKeown to name a few. And I certainly don't get all the fawning over Nataly as I find her completely unattractive. In summation, a funny shred, dude.

I don't see why having a lot of equipment means your rich. Obviously they love music and it's their passion so they could just save up money. Think about how many 50$ console/PC games people have and the instruments they could buy instead. If you sacrifice buying entertainment like dvd's etc you can buy all that stuff pretty easily. There's many artists I don't like but no reason to hate on them this much unless your just jealous.

I really like some highly skilled musicians who do nothing but covers of crappy commercial songs (like Pamplamoose). Their interpretations and artistry are highly individual. Is there integrity in that? I think you would say no. I'll have to process it and make a decision.
