thanks so much for this tribute i thought i was the only one who was and is still a fan of river and jonathan. i also thought i was the only that misses them terribly i can't even find thier movies to buy anymore. so ty it helped to them again R.I.P River and Jonathan you both are truely missed.

Chris Pettiet and River Phoenix both have certain connection with Christina Applegate. Chris Pettiet stared in movie Don't tell mom the babysitter is dead (at the time of making the movie, he already was a drug addict) with her. He died 9 years later. And when River phoenix died of drug overdose outside L.A. club, Applegate was there that evening.

And in 2008, Applegate's boyfriend Lee Grivas died---of drug overdose...

It's unfortunate how addictive drugs are. Once you start, they will take control of you, whether you want them to or not. Especially when you have the cash to keep feeding the addiction.

these men didn't do anything bad, they just lost their way, and they hurt because of it. You need to realize that these men had families, they did have loved ones that hurt every year because of what they lost.

Only evil people should 'rot in hell' these men were not evil, they were lost souls. Have some compassion for their families and friends. . . . .

@Hallamfoebell I understand where you're coming from but some people consider being rich as just having stuff, possessions. Some people consider being rich as having time to be with loved ones. They could of had lots of 'stuff' and still felt alone. No they were not perfect, no one is but one. These were people, they had some good and some bad. Now we all just need to learn from those before us, 'stars' also need to learn. I pray that everyone learns from the death of these people.

All these men. . . were really great actors and it is sad that we lost them all in ways like this. I wish the best for their families and friends, even now the pain of their passing hurts some. RIP guys, I hope that others will learn from what happened to you all. . . learn that there are other ways. May God give you peace now and always.

what the hell is wrong with young Hollywood!! OMG fame is almost like a curse.... these beautiful young people with a whole life ahead of them just gone forever just like that... Ok folks is drugs realy worth it.... but I don't know what to say about Johnathan i read somewere he hung himself... But Chris and River died of drug overdose....IT IS SOO STUPID!!!!!!!! :(

I joined youtube today just to make a comment about this video, and to Thank you so much for making this video of the three actors who will never be forgotten. I am so happy u made this video of them, and that u added Chris Pettiet...he is one of my faves. Loved him from Young Riders. Hollywood lost three amazing actors. I hope they realize that.
