  • do any of yall have any advice for a young supra-to-be owner, wanting to pull numbers like that??

  • @53drag0n Worry about getting the Supra before you worry about numbers, there are people like you on SF everyday with these kinds of questions. Search the Forums for answers.

  • @vXGWOODXv By SF you don't mean stoner forums do you?

  • @vXGWOODXv I realize you responded 8 months ago but Ive owned an MKIV for several years now and I'm a contributing member on that forum so don't make assumptions about things you know nothing about.

  • kind of like, if you build it they will come. well how bout you race a crotch rocket from outside view, and i bet if you film it we will watch lol

  • At 0:03 you had already passed the top spped on my old hilux. Thanks now i want to cry a little

  • OMG :O

  • Nice shiftin bro

  • If the turbo is 68mm (2.7") with 30psi that would be 81 psi?

  • @ANDYX1A What in gods name are you talking about? 30 PSI is 30 PSI. You dont convert the Compressor Wheel to inches and start making stuff up.

  • @vXGWOODXv lol okay good to know sorry.

  • nice will spin 2nd gear:P

  • that bov is fuckinq sex

  • Are you running a boost by gear boost controller like an AVCR or are you just not on the gas all the way in the first two gears? Sounds like the boost picks up when you hit 3rd gear. Also looks like the needle on the boost gauge isn't going as far in first and second as it is in third.

  • holly hell

  • really nice car, sounds beautiful.. <3

  • Thank you for actually knowing how to shift.

  • @zenrael Exactly what i was going to say!

  • Is that an rps manifold I hear????

  • You must have some ear to be able to hear the difference between manifolds...

  • get a garret its more efficent it doesnt realy matter about psi it matter about how much of the air is realy gettin in

  • Garret isnt that efficent i would get a precision turbo.

  • i fancy myself a smart guy....when it comes to domestics yet i have fallen in love with supras. question. what are some determinants for trim size. why not t78 with same boost to deliver more power and a different tune to deal with boost lag? why the 61 on high boost vs larger turbo less boost....safer? some non-retard answer please. thanks

  • I can't say I know for sure but what I do know about turbos, i would say there is a few reasons. Price being one as well as difference in torque and hp band ratings. People are strange!

  • Small turbos have less rotating mass than larger turbos. A small turbo will spool faster, and at lower rpms. A big turbo usually takes about 5000-7000 rpm to acheive max boost, depending on application. Some people prefer to have earlier power in the rpm range, but when trying to make even more hp, only a bigger turbo will suffice

  • @tarkuk The only way for a big turbo to spool at low rpms, is to have a big fuck off intercooler, usually custom made.

    for example.

went from 4500rpm max boost 17 pound. from a evo 6 intercooler.

to 2500rpm max boost with a custom intercooler. costing 2500 cash. not including install.

    love it.

  • @BJs4MePlz or add cylinders.. a 68mm turbo will spool faster on a V8 than on a straight six.

more exhaust=more rpms in the turbo

  • @dwnrety1 that does depend imo. the cylinder sizes depict how mch exhaust.

    for example a v8 4.0L wont give more exhaust then a 6 cylinder 4.0L

  • @BJs4MePlz right, i forgot about small displacement v8s..

when i think V8 i think more of a big block chevy.. you know, 6+ liters... lol

  • @dwnrety1 oh yeah, well then you'd be right my friend!

  • power regardless of psi is determined by how much air is moved. your concerned with the CFM it moves.

  • That is what i mean fast and a very very nice Sound !

I wish i had your car but i have an Calibra V6..;)

  • How did you change your dash/gauge lighting color? Looks good from what I could see.

  • By getting it done at custom LED shops, like in the following link: w vv w . oragu . cㅇm

  • 68mm? cant say ive ever come across to many of these before! sure it isnt a 67??

  • No its a custom Comp 68 mm extendid tip turbo, I try alot of there latest turbos they have out, as I am a distributor for them.

  • hmm thats good to know, quite fond of comp turbos, custom trim aswel?

  • noice!

  • maaaaaaaaaaaaaan that was awesome !!!

  • I know it sounds crazy as it is a very small exhaust for 30+ psi, it is the 2nd gen TRD exhuast and a rps manifold

    thanks

  • Really? Only a TRD exhaust? Damn, sounds beautifull. So I guess we can say that RPS manifolds really make a diffrence in sounding.

  • thats nasty man....id smoke in my chevette tho ...lol jk

  • Anyone know what headers and exhaust this car is running? Sounds like a HKS Titanium exhaust to me but I could be wrong. I mean, the exhaust manifold also has a great role in sounding.

  • No most likely a boost logic 4 inch exhaust...dont u know that turbo cars have turbo manifolds instead of headers?

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry I thought the term 'headers' could be used to describe any exhaust manifold. But yes, I know the diffrence between turbo and non-turbo exhaust manifolds (not really hard to figure out anyways hehe). So Boost Logic 4" exhaust? Quite possible. It surely is the most popular 4" exhaust I've seen so far because of it's quality/price ratio. I mean the HKS 4" Titanium exhaust is 400$+ more expensive on regular price than Boost Logic's.

  • hell yeeeeeeeeerrrr

  • Holy Poop!

  • God that car sound good. RPS header manifold?
