Most of these people admiring Raistlin remind me of Caramon and yes the authors did well in turning the reader into the foolish Caramon.

Some will say that it was a different timeline but I say though the events differed the heart was the same. The same heart that Caramon found in the abyss was the same heart that destroyed every single lifeform on Krynn and when confronted with the holocaust he created...

Raistlin wept for himself...HIMSELF!

and in the end when he knew the truth about how evil he had become.'

without knowing he dawned the white robes and died for the world only to be traped into and endless abyss.

but with his twin caramon a stupid halfwit human worrior (all of us) with more compation then brians he over came the Darkness and stoped the end of the world

of krynn.

My friend, thousands of people like Raistlin!Not because he fight for a good cause or because he's beautiful or sumthing like that but...idk it's his dark personality, his story and the most important: his incredible powers!I mean killing the gods is no small task but HE did it.I believe that a lot of people also like him because we can all see a little part of our own little demons in his personality...one small bad thing we did or a small part of our personality.The best mage character ever.

Definately true! Out of all the characters in DragonLance, Raistlin is definately the best! He embodies a bit of everyone, the part we don't want to admit to ourselves, which is why we love him so much! He isn't the steriotypical like-able character, which makes me like him even more because he's unique, deep, and awesome! If you dislike Raistlin, I don't know what to say to you...

I to love the character Raistlin Majere, But i would say that Tasselhoff Burrfoot Emboidies a part of everyone most known. The Need to explore, have excitement, and to look at thing enthusiasticly. As Raistlin Majere is a brilliant charcter Tasselhoff Burrfoot is excellent. My opinion personally :D

omfg Yes..Tasslehoff... but what about Tanis hmmm? he embodies another part of everyone. he is the most human..the one with the most problems much like ours. i guess margret weis and tracy hickman put a part of human soul in every one of the charectors. such so that it becomes a part of us as we read you know? like...it brings the realism to a whole new level.

I love Rastlin. -points to my name- as u can probally already see. But.... Kitiara... she was always a favorite of mine...her desire to Rule..her cold black heart...it just draws me in as a reader as a charector that is very independant.. and her story as a child is intreging

If you read the books you know that raistlin became a god!Not for long because he changed his own fate but he became the only god!He is so powerfull that he killed takhisis and paladine!The most powerful mage ever no doubt.
