Nice! Not only was that great but so was the music for the first half. Unfortunately it stopped and you didn't have another one to continue (unless that was your plan) what is the name of it and by who?
@greenandkakashi Amen to that dude. I've been keeping at them for only a short while and I already feel much stronger, and they're beginning to flow much more easily.
Ozzi, how much do you weigh? I weigh 167 and i'm 6 ft 2in. I am trying to bring my weight up to 180. What weight do think would be best for me for parkour?
@baldwinrules I weight 160 and Im 5'11". In terms of how much do I think is best for you to PK, that all depends on your strength to weight ratio. There is not right way for parkour. Just adapt to whatever weight and height you are with training. ;)
man ozzi thats some good thing u do (^_^) i whant to come to one of your jam's but i dont know when it is and whea it is. But thats some good thing u doing o and what part of the musle dose it work on??
Holy shit Oz... I'll see if I can integrate some of that stuff here in Taiwan. Been using a lot of your ideas from the first jams to teach kids here :)
Would you recommend weights for free running, I did a bit of free running last year and i have been doing weighst for a year but i wanted to know what do you think of them
guys of course this is hard. even though i used to do that, i took a break of 6 months from working out and even then now when i try to do them all again, its really hard. lol but withing 2 weeks i got it since my muscles felt it before it was easier for them to adapt. for a starter it'll take a month of practice maybe even more. ( a little every day)
@xdaniel77 I've been doing the convict squats for a few months now..Really improved my running/jumping..I just started the upper and abs last week..Destructive..But with the everyday aplication it will only get easier.
dude is it neccasery to go so fast?? look's like your using momentum more then your actual muscle's if you do this slower you'll find it's alot harder.
Damn bro your strong. I only do stuff like this for upper body conditioning. I dont really lift weights much. Is that OK or should I lift weights too?
i like it its like a natural flowing exersice.... might try them eventually.. atm i am trying to get my drive back for parkour training i seemed to have lost it for some reason... maybe just my lack of extra time for going to places idk... but this seems to be nice i haven't been out to just train for about 2 weeks now.... which is sad. It also seems it gets dark before i have the time to go out =(.
Wow man what's the name of the pushup you did between 0:25 to 0:31. I been looking around to see if there's a name for it but can't find anything. It's like a more fluid version of a Plank Pushup, it's awesome o.o and hard o.o.
I just tried and I couldn't do half of the stuff you do.
Much respect!
P.S. I'ma back from a big break, so if you could give me some tips to regain my strength, agility overall all primar sides, you know, gotta be like animal, let go of my primar insticts ;)
@crazynoob11 eat bananas and stretch out/warm up before your workout. i used to be on the swim team in high school and i used to get cramps all the time so this is the best advice i can give. also i live in wyoming where its winter for a good part of the year so we have to learn how to deal with the cold. stretching out and warming up will also reduce your chance of injury greatly. whenever i lead a parkour conditioning session, i get everyone to do warm up drills for at least 15 to 20 mins
@myenglishsuck0123 I don't know what you're talking about - especially as you said weightlifting rather than bodybuilding. I took quite a few months off of parkour and focused on weightlifting and when I returned, my jump height had increased by nearly a foot. This video is awesome though and bodyweight is usually more fun
@3buttocks sorry i thought weightlifting and bodybuilding are the same (see my name).i mean body building is the best way to destroy your abilities. sure you will look a muscular monster but the only pwoer youll have is from weight and i know many bodybuilders who cant even run.
@myenglishsuck0123 I know what you mean. Bodybuilding creates muscles that are large, but slow and not that strong. Weightlifting includes the clean-and-press and jerk, which encourage muscles to be strong and fast. I think bodybuilding would be ok, its just that bodybuilders neglect other parts of training. Early 1900's bodybuilders were superb gymnasts too - John Grimeck won a bodybuilding contest not just by posing, but by doing a standing backflip and doing the splits!
