@jackalhunt1 actually it is old english but I would mistake it for gothic as well for its look. I would call it gothic and I did before finding out it's actually old english. google image old english text L and you'll see I am correct. If I am not please correct me :)

I have never scene these animation series but if my assumption is right This whole death note is about when one of the characters find a note on the floor and somebody/something/the deathnote instructed him to write the name of someone he wanted to die onto the note and writes one of the names of a person in the series after this I haven't figured out what happens could someone tell me if my theory is correct?

@ohaidere12 kind of your right, about the finding it on the floor, but no one instructs him to write names in it he decides to write the names of criminals to try and create a better world. in the end he just becomes a mass murderer

@ohaidere12 You've scratched the very basic surface, the plots much to complicated to guess at without prior knowledge, but you've got a good start, you just need to add in a genius with a god complex and a thirst for cleansing a rotten world.

Light in my opinion was the best character, i was upset when L died and then got the fuck over it, now i love Matt Mello and Light, they're kickass, even though Matt dies soon within the anime but come-one! We have different opinions.

But I assume it's an insult of some kind, but that's fine because I just looked at one of the mangas and one of the editorial notes clearly state how he uses a Gothic font (Cloister Black Font) as a way of bringing across the Gothic sense of the manga.
