The wife is actually a highly interesting character. She does wrong by attempting to seduce Joseph (and damn, blaming him for rape to cover her tracks) but she executes a standard by not allowing him to die. It makes her more three dimensional. I seriously wanted to see more from her character.

@a999op Yeahhh, you should probably do more research. This whole women falsely crying out rape is a tool used by the media to shame women from reporting rape (sexism still existing and all). The Department of Justice states that around 300,000 women are raped each year, with only .35% of the rapists being incarcerated (!). So I would urge you not to spread false information about a phenomenon that shames women who are raped.

I've unfortunately learned from experience that arguing with those kinds of people is just emotionally draining, so I usually don't even bother unless I think they might be reasonable.
