  • What happened to Mark Chatfield?

  • I'm a hudge fan of Bob Seger. Enjoyed this video....it's great. I'd like to ask Bob Seger a question as well. I would like him to sign a book I bought on this same tour....while he was in Michigan....any chance this could happen

  • Bob and Bruce 2 legends together it doesn't get any better than this, 7 dislikes our the sort of people who buy Justin Beber and x factor shite this is real music

  • Love Seger, Springsteen looks like he is trying hard to take a shit when he sings these days.

  • dont even try to take me to a nightclub you will never get me....

  • Great !!

  • YEAH!!

  • 7 dislikes; 7 people with no RnR soul, and might as well be dead!

  • @CoolRockinPapi Agree... At least if they left a negative comment I would know what they hated so much

  • Don Brewer of Grand Funk Railroad on drums

  • i am 22, but i love Bob Seger and old time rock n roll!!!!!

  • @outmanisnotman Well iam 18 and have already been to his concerts

  • These guys r great

  • 2+2 meets Born In the USA the True American way along with censorship ya got yourself a country of a rich mans image.

  • Bob Seger is going on 62 years old...and he has suffered a mild heart attack...before going out on this tour...I think he is aging gracefully...

  • @ffej980 I agree, he was having a great time throughout the whole show

  • @ffej980 yes he is a very good singer

  • @ffej980 seager is 66

  • check out the drum set...its almost identical to what he used with GFR

  • Yes thats Don Brewer

  • I would like to ask Bob Seger a question. Who was your drummer that night @ Madison Square Garden ?

  • @shasta3683 segerbob.com Website shows Brewer... 2011 Tour Lineup Chris Campbell, Bass Guitar Craig Frost, Keyboards Kenny Greenberg, Lead Guitar Alto Reed, Saxaphones Shaun Murphy, Backing vocals Laura Creamer, Backing vocals Don Brewer, Drums also 83, 96-97, 06-07 Tours Jim "Moose" Brown, Guitar and Keyboard Barbara Payton, backing vocals Motor City Horns, John Rutherford, Mark Byerly, Keith Kaminski,Bob Jensen Kurt Wolak, sporadic Keyboard performances
  • Man, the mileage is really showing on Bob Seger. Can you retread rockers?

  • Bob looks a hell of a lot older, and a lot more grey, these days. Voice might not quite be the same either. But seriously, just look at how much fun he is having. You simply have to respect that, he will always be one of the best.

  • O.K. just me, but here goes........ I"ve seen Bob and Bruce countless times. It's always the same. THE BEST SHOWS EVER!

  • Wow. The perfect convergence I've always hoped to see. Bruce and Billy Joel together at the R&R HoF show was great but this is now easily at the top of my, "wish I'd been there" list.

    Thanks for sharing this vid.

  • only bob seger can save America

  • thats Don Brewer of Grand Funk Railroad fame on the drums

  • @ffej980 to be honest with you, I am a GFR fan from way back, I've met Brewer twice, shook hands, talked to him face to face. after studying this video, I can't hardly say that is Don Brewer, Brewer is better looking then this dude . . .

  • @ffej980 SOMEONE HELP US OUT HERE, IS THAT REALLY DON BREWER ON DRUMS?, I knew he toured with Seger in the past but is that really him ?

  • I'm a Detroit girl now living in Jersey - this is AWESOME - best of both worlds.....

  • 2 heros of rock and roll

  • was this a phone or what? and if so what kind?

  • @loganstumpf1993 No not a phone. I use a Panasonic Lumix FZ100. It is large, but easy enough to sneak in tucked in the bottom of my purse.

  • I was there and that was AMAZING!! I loved how everyone(or almost everyone) stood up during this :D

  • Two of my favorite rockers but gotta say this much, Bruce seems a lot more comfortable in bands he hangs out with than he does with the E-Street Band sometimes. Has anyone else caught on to that or is it just me?

  • finally. I've only been waiting for this to happen since I was 17. lol! Love em both.

  • Awesome to see them still playing!

  • Blimey - two of the greats. Must have been a great experience to be there. Love Bob's voice but just how many keys has he dropped here?

  • My dad was supposed to get tickets but forgot and I would have gotten to see the 2 best performers play! Shit!

  • YO DE MAYOR QUIERO SER COMO ELLOS.DOS GENIOS.

  • Friend helped by cleaning up this video new version is on my Youtube Channel sully4of5

  • @sully4of5 - Thanks bunches. I was alerted to the revision through your Rolling Stone post.

  • @speyez Cool, glad you can see the slightly cleaned up version. Enjoy

  • nicely done!

  • Legen...wait for it...DARY !!!!!!

  • I like both these guys....saw them a number of times and enjoyed their shows... but sadly, watching this.. I kept waiting for the Public Television guy to break in with a pledge drive. This rock and roll has gotten too "old time".

  • This is amazing. Two of my favorite songwriters ever playing together. I can't wait to see Bruce next year.

  • my parents dont like me now because i saw bruce springsteen around town. my friend knows him personally so there talking and my other friend was freaking out and i was just standing there not knowing what was going on. i feel stupid xp

  • @darksideofthemoon458 funny story. My friend met the boss at the Stone Pony in NJ. Bruce guested with Mike Ness of Social Distortion and he was just hanging out in the bar before the show. He sounds like a nice chill guy

  • @sully4of5

    he is though!

  • AWESOME! My all time favorite song to dance to! I've have even pulled my husband out of the mens room so we wouldn't miss dancing to it! Brought back some great memories!

    Thanks Guys! :-)

  • Amazing... Thanks for posting!!!

  • I'd rather listen/watch these guys jam than any of the so-called artists/musicians that have come out in recent years--there's no comparison. Also just wanted to brag a little and say that Bob came into the walmart where I cashier a few weeks back...it was awesome!! :D

  • If you want to hear Bob's horn section on my latest record, please check out my profile here. :) I am so proud of my friends in this band and was hoping to open for this show. Now that I've seen Bruce was there..I am more jealous than ever. :) wow

  • It's not a Fender Telecaster ... I believe it's an Anderson T style guitar. Basically a Telecaster knockoff ............ the guitar was set up with humbucker pick ups in both the bridge and the neck position.

  • Bruce is not playing a strat. It's a Telecaster, same make guitar he's played nearly his entire career

  • This is awesome! It's good to see Bruce out and jamming after the horrible year he had. I'm looking forward to his 2012 tour; last tour I saw him twice in one week, It's going to be bittersweet without Clarence though.

  • @sheka216 - Bruce did not write this...

  • bruce springsteen the song writer of old time rock and roll singing with bob seger now thats what i call two legends of rock and roll jamming live in front of a live audence

  • AWESOME!!!! Wish I was there to see that!!!

  • How cool is this Video! Bruce looks great; the haircut takes him back to the Born in the USA Tour. Listening him to rip on the Strat is awesome. I'd love to see him in Germany at the end of May!

  • I LOVE YOU BRUCE :) KISSES FROM SPAIN , I'LL SEE YOU IN BARCELONA

  • What a two boys!!!

  • Brilliant !

  • bruce looks good in flannel, he should wear it more often.

  • I used to like the old time rock and roll, but then I took an arrow to the knee...

  • I had the audio turned up for another video and when this came on my hearing aid began to bounce out of my ear!!! Wonderful music seems like it was just last week that the music sounded like this and not the trash on the radio now!!!

  • I love Bruce! He is one hot hunk of a man! mmmm

  • 2 of the 'greatest' rockers of all time!!!

  • Two legends

  • Thanks for uploading this! So awesome

  • thanks for posting dude!

greetings from Milan (waiting for the Boss in june!)

  • Two of my favs. Takes me back to when I saw Seger three times and Springsteen once in the same year in Detroit!

  • 2 of my heroes on stage together. Awesome post

  • Came here thanks to Bruce's site. This song rocks !

  • Growing up in Detroit I got to see a lot of Bob Seger (in concert and around town - he had a house in Deer Lake in Clarkston where I grew up). Even though he's got more silver in his hair and beard, he still rocks! Thanks for sharing!

  • Just listen to that crowd! Sounds like a great night!

  • I'm in Heaven...

  • Brilliant! Thanks so much for capturing this and sharing it. Too bad Bob and Bruce didn't enjoy themselves! :-)

  • I was there too....9th row thanks to the BS Fan Club!!! The place most definitely went NUTSO!!!

  • I'm so proud and happy for my friends in this band! Great stuff!

  • @FlintboyG What a wonderful show! Thank them for me.

  • @sully4of5 Will do! :) If you are at all curious and visit my profile here you'll see a youtube vid (audio only) called Pack It Up. It features Bob's horn section. They are amazing! :)

  • @FlintboyG Sweet thanks, will check it out.

  • @sully4of5 And at the risk of seeming incredibly shameless, I'm giving away the previous record which was nominated for a BMA (Grammy of The Blues) in 2010. Giving it away in the form of free downloads at my website. gregnagy (dot) com :)

  • I love their friendship! How exciting this must have been to actually been there. Thanks for posting!

  • @mamaygr It was amazing, the entire crowd jumped to their feet and joined in singing. Great times

  • that's hear...not here. :)

  • great video quality and sound...I was there...and so glad I can here it again...powerful moments.

  • See you in Barcelona!

  • I just received the tickets for "Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band" on 30 May 2012, Olympic Stadium, Berlin, Germany. Yeah! Bruuuuuuuuuuce!

  • Excellent video.

  • Roll on Dublin....

  • @sully4of5 Great footage! Great performance! What kind of camera did you use?

  • @chuckvanover I took this with my Panasonic Lumix FZ100. I love this camera. What a great show!

  • OMG Bruce..they say he will tour next year? hope so :)
