I am also keeping my EVO. I see the potential in the dual screen phone but It is missing so many things. If it was a4g device, front facing camera, hd recording, video calling then it would be great. They just missed so many things. The EVO has all those things this phone lacks.

Whether Kyocera creates a POS or the next big-hit in the industry has nothing to do with HTC, the makers of EVO. Therefore, you shouldn't be complaining to Kyocera that they won't make the next-gen of the phone because they are not responsible for what other companies do! And if you're complaining that you watched a 8-minute video only to find out that it wasn't about the EVO, you should look at the title more often, it says clearly says "Kyocera Echo".

As a Sprint customer and Android fan, I was embarrassed watching this event. David Blaine, LOUD crappy music during the "photo opp", it like it was put together by a middle school media class. Apple fans, At&T, and Verizon have a lot to laugh at, at this disaster. It was as awkward as they come, in my mind I see a remake of the Emperor's New Clothes called The Emperor's New Phone.

Read the Wall Street Journal's writeup, "aging phones", "falling stock prices", Sprint is failing...

Well, I've got a rooted Evo, and while I love it far more than ANY other phone out there (I can imagine having an iPhone 4, as I have an iPod touch 4g), I absolutely HATE how much it stutters...

I think this phone is quite awesome. I was hoping to see a more powerful processor since it does seem to have a little latency issue, but that could be due to it being an early model, and Im sure other companies can come up with something like this. Gotta start somewhere though, Bravo Sprint, for again being revolutionary instead of doing like Motorola and basically make a dual core Ipad with Android.
