Only Ernest could get away with slurping from the punch bowl. I'd rather party any day with Ernest than with Vern. No offense to 'Vern' but he seemed dull and lifeless.
I wonder if Jim wrote all these ads? If he did, I am twice as impressed, because he sure had the acting part down. Writing is a whole different ballgame, though.
Believe it or not, when I was small, this one scared me, because I didn't know what he was talking about "putting your money" and stuff, and the music was just plain freaky, and the way he looks at Vern, drinks out of the whole bowl and then walks off...

*Ernest pretends to fall asleep, then proceeds to instruct Vern on keeping his radio tuned to a random station that plays a wide variety of music, and starts a-movin-movin-movin-movin*
"Yeah Vern, you just keep your radio tuned into to (X), and people'll be havin' a happy... *snaps fingers* snappy time at your parties, knowhutImean?" *Drinks punch from the bowl* Superb
