  • was that a rocket taking off in super slo-mo?... awesome.

  • i can continuously play one chord too, except when i'm sober it sounds better

  • @TheSmokeypops You don't seem to understand the concept of this music. You should better listen to music with higher tempos and more variation.

  • Incredible.

  • i fucked a pride of lions while listening to this.

  • The greatest testament to heavy music - the core of the greater D00Mverse.

Chris Hakius didnt play on the reunion tour??

  • @ScorchConch No wheyyyy!

  • @ScorchConch he did when they played like 2 shows it hink it was in 09 but then chris decided to offically retire :( so i think the neurosis bands drummer is playing here i think

  • Dopesmoker and Jerusalem are the same song, same recording session. Dopesmoker was first, it became Jerusalem sometime after the first mix was done and the label who initially signed them got bought out and the people who signed/worked Sleep got canned. As a result, the new douches at the new label wanted a "lite" version, so they got Dave Sardy to remix the original recording with less low end and about 12-14 minutes was cut out. That came out about a year later as "Jerusalem".

  • @enginear there's never been anything to even come close to your mix of Dopesmoker Mr. Anderson. It could summon elder gods and level nations in its wake. Keep it heavy man.

  • @funcoolstorybro Thank you sir. It was a labor of love.

  • @enginear I know these are 7 months old comments, but what are you guys talking about? Did you remix dopesmoker?

  • @Eukatheude Billy Anderson (enginear) did the original mix, that was later released as Dopesmoker. The lighter (crappier) mix was released as Jerusalem by the label, who originally refused to release the album as a single song. Their refusal led to the breakup of Sleep... The happy end is that we now have both High on Fire, OM and the Sleep reunion.

  • @Majndfesch Yeah i know the story... Cool, i didn't know he had a youtube channel!

  • @enginear Fuck yeah, Billy Anderson!

  • needs more Hakius :(

  • @DeltaThree3 i'm glad they recruited the drummer of neurosis, he suits well!

  • Fuck everything, why wasn't i there.

  • Something tells me that that isn't a fog machine at 3:41....

  • Sleep es la polla de Dios !!!!!

  • This is Jerusalem not Dopesmoker.

  • @maroondeathtrap wrong

  • @maroondeathtrap check your history on the song...

  • @maroondeathtrap How can you tell?

  • @maroondeathtrap NO, this is Dopesmoker, not Jerusalem, because Jerusalem was the version that was produced and cut down by their record company. Dopesmoker was the original recording by the band, and thus what they're playing now.

  • Follow the smoke to the riff filled land

  • pike's moster riffs ... cant get enough of this intro <3

  • Right ON! Right. The. FUCK. ON!

  • Went to Monday night's show. EPIC

  • i love power chords!
