Many will object to my comments, but I know the pice (musically) very well; it is a fine piece, fully deserving to be placed in a concert as an encore, or perhaps in a program of lighter music.
It would greatly benefit if the tambourine (or whatever that beating instrument is) could be minimized if not taken out, si that it would not be so obtrusive, and despite any choreographic considerations, a much steadier tempo (except for a broadening in the last bars) would much help the music.
