Personally I think that the Orion should probably have lost that battle. I just don't see how a hive could be beaten by such a few number of drones, and only barely penetrate the shields at, I think it was 20% or so. If the Ancient ships really were that powerful, how could they lose the war?

It would have taken roughly 4 or 5 hives to a single Aurora...

Orion and Aurora are the same class of ship, thats at least what we are told in S02E19: Inferno when the Orion is first discovered.

In any case, I doubt that there is any significant difference between the Asuran and the Lantean ships. The Asurans did after all base all their tech on Lantean designs, and Oberoth probably had enough in-tell to rip off the Lantean ships...

Besides, we never get to see the two factions pair off, so I guess we'll never really know for sure

the ancients left the asuran homeworld after they deemed them not to be the worthy weapons they thought. So the ancients went on to build new classes of ships.

lol those are orion class. they are more powerful than the asuran auroras too. ONLY THE ancients built the orion classes

Yeah, i think we only see them a few times in the show, but they look pretty sweet. There were other "ancient" style ships as well including the "Corvette" but it just didn't look right :p

@thehantavirus That is so wrong. Orion was the name given to the ancient warship, just like Aurora. They were both of the same class.

i went into the config files and added them to the buildable ships :P as far as the Wraith, i edited the Superhive's "escort" and added a few hives to get the massive battle.
