That Guiding Light tribute opening really gave me chills though I have never followed the show. It's always so sad when they cancel long-running soaps :(

I am so pissed about that! Guiding Light deserved SO MUCH MORE! I wanted to hear a speech and they deserved to give one. I don't understand why the Emmy's gave so much valuable airtime to those silly Vanessa Williams musical numbers! That could have been time much better spent for GL. Boooo, Daytime Emmys. =(
