What is the real purpose of the slingbox ? The ability to watch your TV and other devises but mainly your TV from on the road ..Well when will someone post a video of just that ...How this thing works on the road away from home? You can have it working just great with the box in the same room...
Why didn't you just insert the Solo in between your DVR and your TV via the component cables? In other words, component out on the DVR to component in on the SlingBox, then component out from the SlingBox to component in on the TV.

So this can be a perfect solution if I wanna watch live TV programs without having to buy a TV? Have you noticed any lag or instability when streaming over wifi?

According to Sling's website the player (for the Pro) isn't available for Mac.

So your dtv box has two outputs? You didn't run it through the slingbox.

Online it runs slow but got good signal doseit have to do with the long cord I used to the router
