Here's the proof: 30 Second Intension 'tease' as the Right In Two intro. I was at this show, and so stoked that they were going to play Intension... only to find it was a tease. Still very happy with RIT, and this was the only show out of 5 for 10K days I got it.

Not many bands have ever been as successful sounding as good live as studio. Tool is captivating in or out. This song rates as good as The Doors This is the End, or Light My Fire, and its a pity that it is not recognized as such a  classic.

i was also at this show..this is the debut of this song on tour..for everyone lucky enough to be there to hear it you should know...they only played this song five other times on the rest of the tour..an amazing AMAZING song..incredible live

absolutely....type in t.d.n in your search and look for the tool page...there are posted concert reviews with setlists from every show of the entire tour... the night before oakland they played in marysville and played opiate for the one and only time on the whole tour...would have loved to have been a part of that as well...but i was definately fired up when they started playin RIT...DC blew my mind

No its not a marimba, its called a tabla, its an traditional Indian drum. Danny actually played them in the studio for the solo but live he recreates it as best as possible on electronic pads.

Their music is pretty much meant to get you to think. To think and to try and get inside their (or whoevers mind they got inside to) minds.

Sometimes it is right in front of you (like The Grudge), and sometimes it isn't (such as lateralus). Sometimes a lot has a scent of humor. Like Stinkfist, you can think of it as just fisting. But you should really know their is more than meets the ears.
