Well sung, but typical modern staging- why 2 men?? immediately undermines the story. The best concept- which is, I believe, Mascagni's is that Turiddu is off stage- he is heard but not seen. Most opera directors do not believe in the art form, or so it seems- always some new intrusive "idea" but thank you anyway for the audio.
