most of the drifters' songs are great shag songs also..if you don't know what "the shag" is, i suggest you look for southern beach music, and see what you have been missing all your life ; )
Brings back memories and I agree a lot of todays music is crud but there are some good tunes today. I saw an ad on TV. " I aint freakin it I aint fakin it shut up and let me go... Hey. I only took notice because I run a small business and there are so many time wasters (time Vampires) when I realy need to get on with my work that these lyrics really hit the spot, sorry I dont know the band but its a great song. 52 and loving life.

I remember as a teenager back in the 50's / 60's buying a quart of beer for .35 cents and passing it around with my buddies (all 4 of us) then going to school on moday and bragging about going out and drinking with my buddies.....fun times...great music...gone forever...todays music is just loud and a bunch of BS
@TheBacmaster yeh todays music is made by silly teenagers playing loud drums and guitars loud you hear more of the drums or guitar then the singer then there like ahhhhh shouting out the song or what ever if you get what i mean i like old music :)
@blingblabo You are very young, and you did a nice comment, but there are also young groups wich are making great music. I am 42, i can recomend you to search for Paolo Nutini and the Vipers - they are great - and Paolo is a fan of the Drifters.
ahaha bacmaster i call it robot music and im 14 and i love this music as well

Who is the lead singer in this rendition? Very good voice range. Is this the original version?
