Yes, they can be dettached, in a one container unit the doors are mostly kept for security resons. In a container that has one on top of the other, the doors should be closed for structural reasons. In container design, the walls and doors play an structural role besides being space dividers. Doors and walls can be totally or partially removed if some king of opening reinforcing is added instead.

Is there a way to get rid of the door and maybe put panels on the outside of the container so it doesn't look so container like.
