Btw We got that shit on lock again this year. TP all day.
@takecareofyrshoes haha. what a difference a year makes. justin boren was wrong about us. if he thought our morals were bad, maybe he should've realized what the true "family values" were at ohio state. tattoogate blew the door right open for the rise of the BRADY HOKE FREAK TRAIN!!! GO FUCKING BLUE!!!
I dont know if youre a OSU fan or not but I agree with you Johnny about Tressel. He's not a good coach. 2002=Luckiest season ever in NCAA football and more credit goes to the defense and Dantonio for beating the U. His team wasn't prepared at all in either of the NC, I don't really know of any OC who sets their QB up for failure everytime by running it up the gut on 1st and 2nd down and then just letting the D pin their ears back on 3rd and a mile everytime. Time for new coaching..
It's going to be great watching Boren dominate for the Buckeyes. Michigan fans are just made b/c OSU develops their players better. Ever watch the Colin Cowherd Rips Michigan video?
Boren left for the same reasons other Michigan players left and recruits de-committed......b/c Dick Rod is a douche that doesn't embrace Michigan's traditions. Instead it's all about him. Michigan's conditioning program? You mean the program led by s&c "genius" Mike Barwis who makes 250lb OL? OL that size may work in the Big Least, but not in the Big10. Boren was a throwback Michigan OL that would have likely been a high round draft pick. Jake Long would not have fit in with Dick Rod.
just give Rich Rod some. But the bad thing is that it is not a pro style offense which players want a chance to go to the NFL but they cant cause NFL teams dont want spread players.
yeah but as time goeso n thespread will probally be incorporated into the pro's beacuse thespread maybe ina few years will be the dominanat offensive style in college football
4. He just simply "hated to run". Coach Frey jokingly told the linemen they had to run sprints at the end of practice before a holiday break (I think Easter Break). The intent was to have them line up and then surprise them with "I'm just kidding you don't have to run any sprints today". Instead of lining up Boren walked out of practice. 5. He had a Gold Card with Pizza Hut!
Hey did you email forcier and tell him tks for the 5 turnovers and gift wrapped touchdown. Also tk Dick Rod for making my thanksgiving more joyful as I get to re-watch OSU taking it to michigan.
i wanna now why u have -2 rating ur right Boren left cus he was pussy who coudlnt take the work outs he wouldnt stick it out laziness beat loyalty to his teams so what does he do transfer to theexact opposite that shows his character.GOBLUE!
You guys are just pissed because hes actually a good player and he transferred to OSU and your disappointment of a recruiting year probably won't be able to cover for this year's disaster next year. Enough with the immature criticism. "Derr you lost 2 national championships derrr", When really you guys probably said before today's game that Michigan was going to win because "records and stats don't matter". Then the game starts and you get crushed and you realize how bad it really is. Grow up.
Justin Boren is a fat pig. He left Michigan because he couldn't handle Rodriguezs training. Have fun with the fat pig he will fit in with the rest of you're slow fat lineman that Usc and others burned all night long.
I guess Rodriquezs training really paid off with Michigans great season-rofl. My grandmother could have run through that Michigan O-line this past season. And the Buckeyes just got 3 Five Star offensive lineman in last years class alone, so you don't have to worry at all about anything other than the Buckeyes line being really good the next few years.
all very young, by class of 2010 Michigan will have 80 upperclassman. Stars don't mean shit till the player performs on the field. Your team lacks in coaching you haven't beat a top 10 teams since 2006. 3 straight bowl losses and you have been outscored 152-69 in the past 5 games vs top 10 teams. Quit living in the past your coach is nothing but a mediocre coach vs the top schools.
Lack of execution and turnovers were what has killed the Bucks in the last few big games----that falls on the players not Tressel. Tressel is calling the same game and plays that caused him to be so good against top teams before a couple years ago. The recruiting classes that this years upperclassmen came in on were the worst recruiting classes in a long time at Ohio State. Coincidence? I think not. Now the Buckeyes have gotten the #4 ranked recruiting class in '08 and the #2 one this year.
same game plan= Teams catch on. You have stale play calling and you are getting blown out. Big recruting classes only mean something on paper. ND has had top classes b4 too. What did your huge 5 star recruit do this year 0-3 vs top 10 teams 1257 yds passing 12tds.
Did Texas blow the Buckeyes out??? I think not. Pryor is fine. Hes a hell of a lot better than the best Buckeyes QBs ever were as freshman. And Michigan would kill to have Pryor instead of Threet or Sheridan. many highly rated players have decommitted from Michigan the last couple years, Boren and Mcguffie left. I see a pattern. Michigan may never again be where Ohio State football is right now.
Players decomitt from all school. Mcguffie left due to his injuries and had personal family issues to take care of. Boren is a fat lazy pig who was looking for an excuse to leave. Fat lineman is a thing of the past defenses showed Osu that this year. Get your facts straight before commenting on Mcguffie
Michigan fans would kill to have Tressel instead of DickRod. Tressel couldve made your sorry ass team at least as good as they were in '07. But whens the last time Michigan won a major bowl game (as in a BCS game)?? Or beaten a Division I-AA or MAC team???? Or beaten Ohio State?? And until last year, didnt Michigan lose 4 straight bowl games??? Michigan and Notre Dame fans are the worst offenders of living in the past especially considering they are on MAC level now.
First off there is no such thing as AA ball anymore, second Tressel returned 18 players not 3 starters like Rodriguez did. thrid i recall Rodriguez on Fsu staff when they blew you guys out. Fourth we played Usc twice, Texas, and nebraksa. I give u that we should of beat Nebraska. However you haven't beat USC since 1979 so you have no room to talk and just like u guys we got beat by txas by 1 point with 2 seconds left.
3 starters? Are you that stupid? Michigan returned 13 starters (most of them--8--on Michigans defense) since you are including both sides of the football since you said Tressel returned 18 starters. Ohio State also returned 13 starters in 2007 and went 11-2. Michigan returns 13 and goes 3-9. Pathetic. Whats even more pathetic is that youre clueless about this stuff and its your favorite team, not mine.
Speaking of cluelessness, when was Rodriquez ever at FSU??? rofl. And the last time Michigan beat USC was in the 1980s---Michigan has lost to USC 3 or 4 straight times since then. Michigan has played USC much more often recently than the Buckeyes. Until this year, the Buckeyes NEVER played USC in 20 years. So that argument is irrevalent. Its not an accomplishment anymore competing with Nebraska since they havent been a great team for like 7 years.
Rodriguez was a coach for Clemosn i was typing too fast and put the wrong acc team. Michigan beat USC in the Rose Bowl in 89. You are right you haven't played them because you have been fortunate to dodge them when we were winning the Big 10. Last time you faced Usc before last year was 79.
And Michigan was a million times better when they lost to Texas than they are now. You Michigan fans have to really quit LIVING IN THE PAST. You are right about recruiting though--it means nothing unless you can do it on the field. The last 4 years, Michigan and the Buckeyes have averaged the same recruiting ranking (#10). The last 4 years, the Buckeyes are 43-8 and Michigan is 30-20. The Buckeyes have just had their 2 best recruiting classes in 10 years---they are only gonna get better!!!
You need to quit living in the past. Tressel can't beat top 10 teams and has been outscored 158-69 and you brag about all these recruiting classes you get? Time for new coaching son.
the worst possible thing for the Buckeyes is having recent struggles against the top 3 teams in the country---Ill take that over Michigan or Notre dames pathetic football situation anytime (so would Michigan & Notre dame fans). point is the Buckeyes recruiting classes the last 2 years have been a shitload better than they ever been since Tressel has been there & the buckeyes will not only continuing beating your wolverines, but they will get over the hump & win another national championship.
Damn sometimes its hard not to laugh when talking football with idiot Buckeye fans lol. Tressel vs top 10 teams since 2006 was outscored 158-69. The 19 players that went to the nfl who played in the trenchs( OL and DL for you buckeye fans who don't know what the term "trenchs" means) 2 actually strt in the nfl and one of which was hurt all this year. Recruting classes don't mean a damn thing when you have a coach who is clueless on how to run a good offense. Hows Tajh Boyd doing for Osu? LOL
158-69, 158-69, 158-69. I hope that's enough for you cuz I think we got it after the first post. Once again, JT is now pulling in 5 star skill position players, so get ready to see an increase in offensive productivity in the next 2-3 seasons. Oh, and how's Terrelle Pryor doing for you? At least he's proven himself...Boyd could still be a bust.
He's pulled in two good recruiting classes...one of which played last year, and the other will be freshman this year. Just because we have a good class of freshman doesn't mean we're going to win the NC that year. Give it another year and if OSU doesn't have better seasons then you can bitch at us, but JT's been playing w/ 3 and 4 star players. I think he's faired well so far.
You're kidding right? OSU has had some of the top talent other than Florida or USC. Connor Smith, Rob Rose, Worthington, Boone, Cordle, I could go on and on. Tres just chooses seniority and loyalty over anything for the most part. He also needs to stop calling the plays cause he really sucks at it. We made Mo Wells run in between the tackles, I hope he doesn't bust Berry the same way.
Yes Justine Boren is horrible, it says alot that he started for Michigan. Must meen Michigan is horrible too since they start such bad players like Boren.
boren started under Carr and the boring basic straight up blocking that the big 10 teams run except Michigan. Boren was too fat and slow to learn how to zone block. Even as bad as we were we sacked Pryor 4 times because your offense is fat and slow.
