  • love it!

  • i love davids bird vids :DD!

  • 22:30 That first male found some axe sprayer.

  • Thank you BBC for bringing more documentaries to youtube!!!!

  • David Attenbourogh does alot of these series including: The Life of Mammals; The Private Life of Plants; Trails of Life; Life on Earth; Life in Cold- Blood; Life in the Undergrowth; Galapagos; Life...all are great! Sir David has the greatest, most enduring voice ever. I sincerely have a HARD time listening to anyone else do commentary after watching so many of these series!

  • truly amazing.cant get enough.simply amazing, these guys have soooo much patience and passion for what they do!

  • Woah, this episode is a juicy one. I didn't know that a documentary with bird mating could still be G rated. The albatrosses, grebes and swans are so romantic. Aww <3 Birds also have polygamy and cheating. That female hedge sparrow was a sly one. Although she already has a mate, she tricked another male into believing he fathered her chicks. There was a variety of game birds with visual displays. One was a capercallie, which chaised David out of his territory. LOL

  • This man is my idol and I hope to one day become like him, travel the world and make documentaries. Plus, we watch these movies in class, lol.

  • At 26:02... TESTOSTERONE!

  • 22:00 oh pick me!!!

  • I like this show

  • Very interesting facts.....

  • 19;20 bird got a BONER

  • how does he get so close to these animals

  • He returns to a specific spot everyday, staying for a few hours at a time so the animals can become acclimated to his presence

  • Also, many of the animals in the Galapagos are not afraid of humans because they don't see them often and don't see them as a threat.

  • @CrystalSnowfire birds of Galapagos island never confronted predators so people can get close to them and it won't scare them away.. 10:20

  • Great for any Birder on the planet...........

  • Amazing videos. All your videos are informative and well organized......funny to watch birds actions.

  • I hope Youtube uploads more videos of David Attenborough.

    This is AMAZING!!!!!!!

  • Life of Plants is also great, but it's only available as an NTSC region 2 DVD. Europe.

I need to get an "All Region" player from an electronics importer. They don't allow NTSC coding in Australia, because their market is too diverse.

  • Thanks dude. I saw that series it was awesome. Some of the stuff that David shows is crazy. A three foot worm, neon bugs. I love the guy I just wish I had his intelligence so I could experience everything he did. Someday it will happen.

  • It's weird for me too. Every time I watched "Life of Plants" it seemed there was a lot I hadn't seen before. I think I watched the whole series 6 times.

The irony is that the Earth is still a Big Angry Planet, though the world has been shrinking. I think climate change is coming, big and bad. It may well push a side our consumption habits. The only question is how hard will it push?

  • If you ever get a chance check out the trials of life video series narrareted by David Attenborough...It was pretty good.

  • wonderful!!!!

  • Amazing video. really funny looking sac at 20:00

  • wow this is long im glad i finished it

  • Awesome. I just discovered one of the best parts of Youtube. It's worth my while to watch over and over again.
