BEAUTIFUL car!! People say the VW Beetle is the predecessor to the Porsche. I disagree. The "classic" Beetle has 4 cylinders, 4 forward gears and will never cruise at anywhere near 200kph (120mph). It was an idea that was never expanded on for increased top end or creature comforts. I know, I own a '70 Beetle and hate getting passed all the time by most other vehicles. The Porsche has 6 cylinders, a better transaxle design and the whole car is a better design that the Beetle. Time to trade up.

@hawkwing171 Do not listen to UITA2Gamer saying Turbo S starts at 104K- that price refers to a nice C4S- a new Turbo S starts at 160K and one can easily option it up to close to 200K. A nice 993 (the best) Turbo S can be had for around the 100K range. Non-S turbo can be had for ~140K. The cheapest way into a Turbo is the earlier 996s, can be had from the high-50s and up.

clarkson made a mistake in the c4s description when he says it has the same engine except for the turbos. Thats wrong. The turbo has a COMPLETELY different engine... The dry sump gt1 le mans racing block... The c4s is nothing like the turbo.
