Im trying to death stretch from a 10mm to a 12mm tunnel 'flare', the ends dont screw of and there 14mm, does that mean i have to go to 14mm to get to a 12mm?:/

@tambie30 you have a double flare. Those are hard to dead stretch cause they flare bigger than actual size. You can stretch with those without hurting your ear. I would get plugs that you screw on, wait till it heals and then throw those in. I mean its possible to put it in if it fits i guess but sometimes its really tough on your ear. or just use a taper to stretch and leave that for a few days. It shouldnt do too much harm cause your still at somewhat of a smaller size.

@VibrayteZ The simple answer and I'm pretty sure everyone that's experienced and not a fucking retard can tell you that.. well. There isn't. You should wait until your ear is ready. Usually about a month-2months depending on your ear. Then you shouldn't skip. Use a water based lubricant and rub your ears and the plugs or tunnels should go in easilily unless they're double flared but it shouldnt be to hard. If you could do it fast there would be people with big holes everywhere. Sorry.

it isn't safe to stretch your ears with silicone gauges. it's the best way to blow your ears out. it is best to just do it by playing with your ears and letting it happen naturally, that way, you also save alot of money you would've spent on tapers. tapers that big must've cost a fortune!

I tape but if I had the money I would use tapers every time, I have never had any problems with them regardless of the material they are made of. Also a gauge is not a piece of jewelry, a gauge is a unit of measurement .
