  • Is this in 5/4 time or 4/4 time? I know MPC has limitations.

  • J'adore :D <3

  • this is how FFVIII would have sound on the NES!

  • holy shit dude good job

  • 1 person was very afraid

  • Waooouuuw , trop bien gérer , elle me manque trop cette zik <3 :(

  • 1 person couldn't beat Ifrit

  • @Kzar5678 more like some1 got the shit beaten out of em by T-rexaur

  • @13KuroNekoXIII why does everyone go on about the T-rexaur? i've never had the slightest difficulty killing a T-rexaur... ever.

  • Around 0:46 reminds me of summoning a GF to assist against strong enemies like the Ruby Dragons while gathering materials for the LionHeart.

  • nooooooooooooooo the first best EVER battle theme.... i LOVE IT... also i LOVE it in this version... great job

  • in all honesty, and not to sound like a jerk because I know there is only so much you can do with mario paint, but it sounds like there is one vital point missing throughout this one. I can;t really determin what it is. Not to say that I don't like it because you are vastly superior to me. Keep up the great work.

  • good.

  • does your computer struggle with mario paint?

  • 8D This is awesome! We did Final Fantasy for our marching band field show! It was my favorite piece! 5 STARS!!!

  • speaking that this is mario paint.... this was done VERY well. you managed to capture such a great song in such a simple music program and have it come out great

  • my god I have no words for your work.... I think only I LOVE IT!!

  • Jeez HC Bailey, I'm a hell of a fan of the LP's, but this is something else altogether.

    Good job!

  • OMG so good!!

    I MEAN MORE THAN GOOD!

  • two words: ***ing awesome

  • man, I love how you never go half assed... you are my gaming hero period *bows* may i someday come close to your greatness

  • sounds a bit like the pc version of the game lol nice work dude

  • You made me smile =)

It is Ok, It's Good, i don't know if you can better it, but it is perfect at it is !

  • nice

how do u make it on sharp?

  • wow, that might be as good as the original!

  • no, this is good, but the original is the best

    FFVIII 4 EVER

  • was?thats is very good

  • very good! what is mario paint btw?

  • omg really? on the SNES, Mario Paint was basically MS Paint by numbers, and it also had a bs music composer (seen here)...it had a mouse. it was pretty much awesome.

  • I don't know how close it is because I always beat the enemies in the first 10 seconds :O Lol.

  • Woot AGAIN!

  • nice

  • HELL YESSSS

  • 2 words you...

    HOLY S***

  • The part that sounds messed up is at 0:20 when the pitch goes down... Sounds very wierd... also sounds like some other missing parts i remember from ff8 o.o

  • the intro has extra notes in it, taking away from the thrilling beat of the song :/ but its still good.

  • MYYYYYYYYYYYYY =3

  • I like this, it's better than what I could dream to do. Something seems missing from it, though... It doesn't sound quite right, even for Mario Paint style.

  • daaaaam man....that's a masterpiece.

Congratulations! Do you have a ff7 battle theme version? ^^ I prefer ff8 anyways =] Nice!

  • You did a good job, but I dont think the beat was quite right.

  • dude your stuff kinda hot. have you ever thought about using music software like fl studio for some of you recreations?

  • funny

  • This is my second favorite battle them! With man with a machine gun coming in first.

  • This is impressive, especially given the time signature (5/4) and time changes (6/8 and 4/4) in this song. I'd have gone cross-eyed. Bravo!

  • cross-eyed?

    lol!!

    imagine...(_(*)) ((*)_)

if you see what i mean. tho i must say that you're right! it's great, fantastic!!

  • That's the novelty of this program, since it works in beats per minute, time signature doesn't really factor in, so you have a lot of freedom.

Makes me want to get this for myself, actually. Might be a better idea than paying for the full version of finale notepad or something...

  • Very well rendered. Hm, i think 'don't be afraid' was alsothe title of faris' pirate ccave bayin ff5.

  • best mario paint video I saw so far a great trascription congrats

  • wow fcking amazing lol

  • yayayya ^^

  • Loved it!

  • Ahh, I remember this one. Good stuff.

  • Just drop-dead amazing. Even with the necessary octave-dropping... you're a real pro at this now, and I hope you realize that - people are looking up to you with good reason.

  • Wow, now you're getting really good at perfecting everything.

Now I don't know whether or not I'll be able to be a picky bitch (especially about the Bass Drum stuff) anymore. lol.

    Good Job HCBailly.

  • Thanks a lot, everyone. Using notation software REALLY helps with the percussion, as I no longer have to 'guess' where the it goes.

  • Nice one =)

  • It's kinda surprising how easy you've made this one look in terms of finding a good way to sequence it. You know, somehow that remark makes less sense when I type it out.

  • Impressive job! This is definitely the hardest of the PS1 FF battle themes to put into Mario Paint.

  • Nice man! I didn't actually think you were gonna do it :-X good job, though! :-D

  • heh nice xD its amazing how u make a vid everyday really n happy new year!
