Nice video... I really liked that Deadstick landing with the cub. The Twin Otter was pretty cool, too. But, by far, the best aircraft was that C182(?) on floats... Great video, again!!
Hei. Dere fikk meg i gang...takk... PS! Utrolig bra video! John Gustav Nes
Some lovely models there though are you sure that quarter scale Piper Cub is really a Piper Cub? It looks a lot more like an Aviat Husky to me (which admittedly is based on the Super Cub), the square wingtips and tundra tires give it away. Also, the Sopwith Pup is actually a Flair Puppeteer, a 'lookalike' of the Pup. Nevertheless, brilliant video and some great flying. Thanks!
It's a Flair Puppeteer, I'm not sure if the kit is still available but it certainly is a sweet flying model and easier to build and fly than a true scale Sopwith Pup, it's still quite a builder's model. The kit was produced by Flair models in the UK and wasn't cheap but was certainly a well designed and produced kit. It has a thicker, flat bottomed wing section, a wider, shorter undercarriage and a longer nose than a true scale Pup which aid it's flyability!
That cessna 180 float plane was very nice.

Some of those you could swear were the real deal.. Very nice.
Does that field have a heavy cross wind or did most of those pilots at the beginning just not know how to land?
robscorobson86 2 years ago
im betting on croswind
