  • Interesting...only one comment relevant to the review. Chewing gum aside it was a reasonable demonstration of the products. There are also more video demos of this amp at Carvin.com. The one comment I thought made sense was to have Holdsworth do a demo, but most people should be aware that this guitar could have uses way other than Alan.

  • Because you need to order it in the great USA! Suport your own country man!

  • Albert........you sound great man......

  • how did the legacy 2 come out in 1998 and the legacy 1 came out in 1999??

  • @eyeslikeezera 2009. The guy just mess it up...

  • @eyeslikeezera lol i heard him say that and i was like wait wait... what?

  • Hey, I see Michael Sweet on the poster in the back there, with the custom Carvin V guitar! :-)

  • When are we going to get a demo from Allan???

  • Yes but how do i order a HH2 from the UK. none of the Carvindealers seem to want to help??

  • That's what i call the power of gentle persuasion. The man finally got his headless.

  • Do they build guitars and amp with those gummy mans?

  • So as the man says the original Legacy came out in '99 after the Legacy 2 in ,97? Maybe if he'd get that fuckin gum out of his mouth and concentrate he'd know what he was saying

  • The guitar comes with the new JS TransTrem and they don't demonstrate that? WTF?

  • @zzm00k The guitar shown has a fixed bridge.

  • If it doesn't have a head where does that guitar keep its brain?

  • @ThieleM hah! made me laugh bro :D

  • god damnit i really had the new holdsworth the old one was kinda cool but this ones ugly as hell

  • Did he just spend 30seconds explaining what a master volume does?

  • doesn't he mean legacy 2 in 2007 - 2008? Not 1997 - 1998. Especially when he already said Legacy 1 was in 1999 LOL.

  • Love Carvin.

  • great products from a great company. Many of you YT trolls need to fact check before you spout off on a public fora such as this. You all sound ridiculous proving to each other exactly how much you dont know what your talking about.

  • @purpledc1 Troll or not, you just used the incorrect form of "forum". By stating the indefinite singular article you need to assume the role of the following noun as such. "Fora" = plural form

    "a" = indefinite singular article

    Results in? Incompatibility. Just sayin'.

  • Hope can see carvin will make more headless guitar in the furture

  • nice vai imitation

  • i think if we took the word amazing out of the english vocabulary, even just for a short while, we'd have a hard time describing our talented players, kick-ass equipment, & hot new axes!

and that goes for myself as well lol.. but yes i always thought Carvin was an under-rated company, but now they are simply...well yes "AMAZING" love the new Neil Zaza model

i think they call it the CT-624 M..the "M" must be for its birds-eye maple neck ..check it out..

  • No tone.

  • @ykcor1138 Whiner.

  • Carvin is rapidly becoming the premier builder on the planet. PRS, Gibson & Fender are all great companies, but IMHO, Carvin is climbing to the top, if they're not already there. The factory direct only business model insures that there are no retail markup. In addition, it's really one stop shopping. Amps, guitars, PA, mixing boards, all of it. And they're damned beuatiful!

  • @sixstringfretter

That would be true if only their factory-direct prices applied to places outside the US and Canada. To this day, I still don't understand why Carvin made such a shitty decision.

  • @sixstringfretter How much crack do you smoke a day? Can I buy some from you?

  • @sixstringfretter vigier?

  • no mention of 8 strings at all? or will that be another video

  • The neck pickup is very saturated, don't u think?

  • Nice to hear a good guitarist using an in tune guitar on one of these demos.

  • Couldn't even get Holdsworth to stop by. Why? Because he plays Gibson.

  • @WalrusDoom

    ?

    He does?

  • @WalrusDoom

He hasn't played a Gibson since the Tony Williams/Soft Machine era.

  • @gunshow86de Wrong, he plays a Gibson Telecaster now with Seymour Duncan Livewires.

  • @WalrusDoom You're sure you're not confusing Allan with someone else? Only Gibsons he played were SG's (if i recall correctly he had 3 of them, and it was long time ago. Afaik he currently has only one, might be wrong.) After those, he played (in no particular order) Ibanez, Charvel, Steinberger (pre-gibson), DeLap, Carvins and ofc SynthAxe (forgot company)

  • @WalrusDoom haha are you joking?

  • @WalrusDoom where do you get a gibson telecaster? Last I checked they were made by fender.

  • @WalrusDoom

Folks, this guy is a poe......

  • @WalrusDoom

    a Gibson Telecaster - LOL

  • @WalrusDoom What you're doing is extremely boring, go get some fresh air or something.

  • @77Fortran I literally don't have any friends.

  • @WalrusDoom

  • Sweet. That's exactly how I ordered my HH2 but mine's in seafoam green.

  • Legacy - 1999, Legacy 2 - '97/'98

    dafuq?

  • HH2 only double ball end strings is a dealbreaker

  • @666patrickbateman666 There's hope yet that these can be used with aftermarket string adapters, judging from the two attachment holes on top of the headpiece..as shown in 1:35. Just like Steinberger guitars :)

  • @encikharith Let us pray !

  • so its a 1999 amp with another button?

  • would it kill him to take the gum out of his mouth. looks like a cow with all that chewing.

  • @alvicious THAT'S HIS CUD. LOL

  • @alvicious

Perhaps his gum is exceptionally tasty

  • @alvicious That is what my mum always said to me when I was a kid and now I don't chew gum.

  • @alvicious

He's probably a smoker but can't leave the booth

  • @alvicious

Agree with that, I would have replaced the gum with my boot!

  • 2:47 No distortion? Ahah, Ibanez will love that. If so, they shouldn't sell that pedal anymore.

  • @MetallicaFan4ever5 Exactly what I was thinking......Oh, boy. There goes the Jemini.

  • @MetallicaFan4ever5 They'll still sell it because people will buy it. It has Steve's name on it.

  • @MetallicaFan4ever5 WHY would u need a SS dist pedal when you got full ON valve dist built in!

    ALWAYS better!

  • @MetallicaFan4ever5 don't worry, they will still make him bring the jemini pedal no matter what... :)

  • mahfrakin headless guitarz !

  • @harimauvortex mahfrakin indeedz!

  • Great guitar, cool amp. and awesome demo :)

  • Dat headless Carvin!
