Oh yeah you idiot. The Archos' screen is nearly twice as large, twice as high resolution, and has over 266 times more colors than the iPod Classics (Plus its a toutch screen).

The iPod doesn't have an internet, a DVR funtion, can't read PDFs, and can't download media wirelessly(excluding a shitload of other features). The one thing about an iPod is that its smaller (only due to its lack of features).

480x272 is twice as high resolution as 320x240? okay.. well.. your mathematics.. and the ipod has no other features that are better than the archos? batterylife? 45 hours seem more to me than 17,5 in audioreplay. ipod is OF COURSE the bettter mp3player, because it has longer batterylife and is smaller.. if you want a good videoscreen, you also can compare archos with a hd-tv and archos hasn't even a fifth of screensize or -resolution. but probably in your world it has..
