  • nice job

  • um... why did those guys hang around there to shoot a random man (clearly not wearing a badge) that happened upon the same place? it just makes no sense, too vigilante also... just no real justice.

  • @Animefreak869 thank you! : )

  • Okay the bad news: what the ??? The content just died somewhere between the roof and the alley.

The Good News: Loved the effect, the lead actor and the music kept me.

  • Nice, really liked the story and cinematography.

  • Good to watch.

  • Very good! I couldn't tell what the "required elememts" were.....you incorporated them so well. Sometimes the required elements in these sorts of films stick out like sore thumbs....

  • That was impressive! I acted in one of the 2007 Seattle 48 hour films, and it was alot of fun. but they didn't do nearly as good a job. Let me know if you need anyone;-)

  • Really cool movie. Well put together, especially for under 48 hours.

  • nothing special - except the girl who performed the secretary

  • That was awesome :) Great job guys!

  • Great film guys! I have a quick question for you. I'm thinking of entering this year's competition in my city, but I was wondering: What kind of camera did you use, film or digital? What software did you use to edit it together?

  • JVC GY-HD200ub with a redrock adapter using canon 85mm and 200mm lens.

we edit on adobe CS3, about to upgrade to CS4.

    :)

  • I'm excited for you guys on the 48 Hour Film Project: International! Focus! Eyes on the Prize!

  • I dont get it.... It's boring, and the filming is bad. sorry but I dont see why you won

  • :( Well we did have 48 hours to write, shoot and edit.. harder then it sounds man. oh well to get your approval I will try harder on the next one. :)

  • @OmegaFilmProductions Maybe when you've been in the craft a little longer, you'll begin to see that not everything is supposed to look like a TV show. The judges in Seattle acknowledged this for Direction, Cinematography, Editing, and Acting.

I also thought that it was well scored.

I'd be interested to see what you can produce within the constraints of the 48 Hour Film Project. Maybe your mom can give you some money to compete in Portland later this year.

  • hm i really dont get the video?

is there a catch in the divorce papers or something?

  • No, just that his character is going through a divorce, and he often flirts with his secretary.

  • Congrats but i dont get it :/

1- Why he doesnt check the photos in the camera?

    2- Who shot him?

3- What are those guys still doing there?

4- How does he know they are his friend's murderers?

5- Why did he beat those guys and leave instead of arresting them?

But I guess i have a theory... Since he was trying to figure out what has happened, he lived those moments. And beating those guys meant he nailed them by figuring out how it happened... If so... GENIOUS!

  • Swordsson: it was my first time coming in the 48hr film project & I think I wrote too ambitiously. There are shots we couldn't get to, but in a perfect world (or if you got to read the script):

  • 1. He knows something's important in the camera which is in the message.

    2. The 2 thugs follow Garrison (from a morgue scene that was never completed) & shoot him after he nabs the camera. Theres a missing shot of them looking down at him from the roof.

    3. Classic "return to the scene of the crime" bit

    4. phone call + detective

    5. We had only 7 minutes time, but they did get arrested, Garrison continues to flirt with his secretary, and his friend remains dead. : )

  • But in all seriousness, thanks for writing and asking the questions, because it just makes me want to work harder! Thanks so much!

  • good job moses:)

    you are my hero hehe

  • MoMo! : )

  • Hey, That's Moses!!! AHHHHHHH! Crazy, sensai! Good job, been a long time man! Ed told me you guys won this thing. Congrats! Check out some of my work man!

    -Fisher

  • CONGRATULATIONS!!!

  • that was entertaining. except im kinda confused. he pretended to be shot?

  • There were a few shots that we couldn't get to or didn't look as good as hoped. Garrison was supposed to be looking over the ledge and down at the chalk outline of his friend. When the bang hits, he touches his waist, lifts his hand, and sees it covered in blood. He gives a kind of awkward smile and a, "huh" and drops off the ledge...cue the "Jackie Chan" stunt. If you look closely, you can see the red on his shirt, but because of the wash, it's easily missed.

  • goooood job moses!! :):)

  • I wonder what these guys will do when not limited to just 48 hours. : )

  • Zombie movie will answer that question...

  • Good job guys. Came out really nice!
