Heading to Warren, MI tomorrow to take part in a peaceful protest.......Obama is supposed to be having a "townhall meeting" at Macomb Community College. I love his "controlled townhall meetings", the only people there are by invitation only. Everything he does is controlled, questions asked by the media, etc. - does he think we don't see through this? YES HE DOES!!

If you haven't seen the videos with Congressman Jack Kingston (R-GA) on all the blasted CZARS! He's counted 34!

They are making between $142,000 - 175,000 (I think he said). NONE ARE VETTED by Congress, as stipulated in our Constitution. Then, he says they EACH have about 10 employees. I have 4 or 5 of those videos on my site. And, Van Jones, green jobs czar who is a self-proclaimed COMMUNIST!

The "teabaggers" are people like yourself - the teabags are covering YOUR eyes so that you can not see what is going on. See the problem is, we WANT a life, our own, run by ourselves, not run by the government. That is how America is supposed to be. It is people like you, who want the government to take care of you that should move out of this great country and find one that fits your needs.  Read the constitution. Read the history on our Founding Fathers. Maybe then you will get it.

Yeah, but we're exercising forced solidarity on a daily basis anyway. For instance, law enforcement and public schools are funded by our taxes. You also wouldn't speak out for leaving that to the individual. What speaks against extending that forced solidarity principle to health care? I totally agree with you that government should have defined limits and not invade our private lives too much. But in areas where the general public has a greater benefit than the individuals loose, why not?

I should have clarified between the federal and state governments in my post. The federal government does not run the law enforcement agencies nor the public schools - those are both state run entities. I do not want the federal government to run my health care...they have made a mess of everything else they have attempted to run.(Soc. Sec., Medicare) Not saying most states do much better on running things, but a lot of problems with that is because they have to bow to the federal government.

The federal government runs the FBI - among others. Anyway, health care will be the new controversial issue in the next weeks. Here's my take on it: We need effective coverage for every American because healthy people are good for the economy and for reasons of humanity: No health-related bankruptcies. The federal government should not run health care but provide an voluntary insurance. Why on the federal level? Because of the size of the plan it will be able to negotiate the lowest price.

Not sure what the FBI has to do with this discussion? I would not be opposed to the idea of government providing a voluntary insurance. Michigan has a program for low income working people's children called MIChild - I think this is the type of thing you are meaning? I have a friend who used this and she paid $5.00 a month for her child. A program such as this with fees based on a sliding scale in conjunction with wages would be good. There are better ideas than what this idiot admin. wants.

Hey Chris, I attened a Tea party in Boerne, TX - They had open microphone , you could talk for 2 minutes. One young man stood up and said "I am generation "Y" and I want to know where my generation is today? They are stealing our future, our liberties and our rights!!"
