  • ITS BULLSHIT...that veterans do all the dirty work (killing innocent people for nothing) for the colonializing government & facist asses and when the vets discharge they dont give you shit. gi bill is for people with college knowledge or ability people join the military because they arent smart enough for that (most) ITS REALLY OVERDUE FOR A REAL GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY GIVES A FUCK ABOUT THE PEOPLE!!! TODAY

  • Watchin this rite now on T.V. I love this movie!!!

  • Larenz Tate has 2 of the best "driving in a car" scenes ever. This one, and Menace II Society. What a great actor he is.

  • B O M B

  • can i live?

  • I want to make a modern remake of this scene soo bad!

  • @showmesumass I know, and use real soldiers that came back from Iraq and Afghanistan. I think you really got something here, brother.

  • I love when kirby says- burn the money . I laugh or smile everytime. lol

  • whos the artisit of the sound playin in the back???

  • @IsisGoldAnkh The Look of Love by Issac Hayes

  • They dont make them like this anymore sadly:(

  • The pimpest scene ever? Or at least goes in the top 5. I bet that's really how it was in the 70s too. Gotta love this movie even though it had a f**ked up ending, but all good movies do right?

  • keith david

  • this is my fav scene of the movie...just crusin, kicking back, drinkin, talking shit and planning a robbery...LOL Kirby exhales and inhales without taking the cigarette out of his mouth haha...and he makes a face like he just drank a shot of straight lemon juice every time he takes a slug from the bottle..."aaaah...all that money"...you down? Let's drink on it, anyway...in 1972, they weren't saying "chill out" so the Puerto Rican said "cool out"...I think "chill out" wasn't until the late 70s

  • This is the best scene!!!! "All the way to washington where they( boiyne) the money" lolololol

  • @teena82 lolll

  • one of my favourite part of this masterpiece that is the movie "dead presidents". Everything about this scene is just perfect and catch the spirit of the moment and make me feel melancholy every time; the music, car, the drinking and smoking, the town's light in the background... Pure art genius!

  • my favorite scene

  • The music, "The Look of Love" by Issac Hayes, should have been allowed to play longer before the start of any dialogue. The Hispanic guy in the back of the car ruined the aura of the scene by talking, especially asking that dumb question. The music should have been allowed to play for about 1or 2 minutes before the start of dialogue. Other than that, great laid back seen.

  • Everyone blew their parts away in this film. Thats two times "Larenz Tate" should have been up for an Oscar, his portrayal of "Frankie Lymon" was very worthy but they just won't give this guy his props. But his work is always awsome. "Keith David" should have been up for best surpporting actor, You can see all the homework that was done, They really captured that time and place, even the music was so on point it just took me right back to my childhood. Big up's to The Hughes Bros. on this one

  • To really feel this, you gotta be able to go there, back to '73, when Vietnam vets were coming home all shell shocked, with post matic stress, min. wage was something like 2:00 and some change, that is if you could find a lil Bull%$#@ piece of job.. People were simply starving in the streets, and good people were being driven into doing bad things! I was a snot nose kid, but funny how I remember people being a lot stronger back then. The Hughes Bros. really did their homework for this one!!

  • that guy that is driving has made soooo much money off of his vois=ce. he did goliath on that disney show, and he has done so many voices for previews and commercials

  • this song is bad.

  • this scene is too kool

  • I love the tune that plays in this scene...real easy-riding song fo' real.

I still can't believe that they were gonna burn that money, man. I'm feeling what Skip said at the end of this movie: 'They was gon' burn all this shit...all this shit! And a brotha can't even find a job!'

Well, that's Uncle Sam for ya'...money to burn. (Kirby)

  • Put that goddanm thing away..you little pyromaniac ass..you'll be walkin' in a minute!

    Yeah Hahaha!

  • ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES!!!!!!!

  • Man this scene was a great intro into the central plot of what i feel was one of the best acting jobs of two of the most dynamic african american actors todate. This is why hollywood should never hire rappers for acting roles, its like oil and water it just want mix.

  • Damn...thought I was the only person loving this scene. Pure classic fah real.

  • Ashanti - Rain On Me.. is this why this nigga was in that music video lol

  • That's more then likely why they picked him and this song look of love by issac Hayes to sample for her song.

  • i love this movie

  • Nevermind my fault

  • Wuts the name of that song..I know Jay-z used that sample on cn I live

  • this my favorite part of the movie, they ridin, laid back chillin

  • yaboiloso, I agree if they can pull it off and make it as good as the original.

  • For real! I've always thought that dawg... This movie leaves a heartbrakin taste in your mouth at the end... Hughes brothers did it big with this one!

  • one of the best and most underrated movie...best sceene

  • Larenz Tate. A great actor that doesn't get enough credit. This is one of his best parts ever.

  • Keith David too.

  • This reminds me of Ashanti Rain on Me thats why Lorenz Tate was in it..probably

  • sooo gangsta.....

  • Absolutely a wonderfull scene, always felt like this movie been slept on and not getting its respect it deserved. I agree the end could have been better. But 3/4 of the full movie def had all characteristics of a classic.

  • true. the ending could have been better but it was realistic. it's hard to pull off an armored truck robbery and kill police officers then get away with it

  • this has got to be one of my favourite films. it means alot to me. the soundtrack was on point .

  • The coolest movie scene I have ever scence. That big Lincoln, the brothers rolling down the bouley chilling to Black Moses. Good grief, that is just plain cool ass pimpin.

  • Ye just my words, best scene ever.

I Became a big fan of Isaac Hayes music after being introduced to his music thru this movie..

  • can i live. jay z
