  • what is the name from the melodie by 0:42 ???

  • @F1Fabse it sounds like Avatar soundtrack to me....

  • Ralf never had a good time at Indy did he?

  • "You fucking idiot! You broke my fucking car!"

  • legend

  • nice touch Ferrari :-D

  • How did Allen think Michael won the race? That was so close, you couldn't call it by eyesight. Martin did the smart thing - look at the timing monitor.

  • @1987PANAGIOTIS How the hell does Senna come here? Go and comment on Suzuka 1990...

  • Best finnish to a race I've ever seen!

  • @The3rdsecondmemory fail! This finnish was the best ever: Fórmula 1 1986 - GP da Espanha

  • Responder a este vídeo... Fórmula 1 1986 - GP da Espanha

  • new weekly indianapolis bicycle adventure ---> watch?v=41GGNMAAtEg

  • haha rubens barichello defending ayrton sennas record nice

  • The best F1car ever built in the story of this sport.

  • @trebbia5 what about the F2004 ?

  • @trebbia5 If you look relative yes(even better than mp4/4 because mp4/4 had better drivers I think), else no. Because of new regulations, cars are able to be faster these days. The cars get faster every year, KERS, DRS and new inventions like double diffuser(now banned), f duct(banned too), off throttle blown diffuser etc etc.

  • @MyTennis2009 La Ferrari F2004 detiene ad oggi il record su tutti i circuiti rimasti invariati, ed era circa 2 secondi al giro più veloce delle attiali F1. La F2002 è stata la migliore in confronto alla concorrenza.

  • @trebbia5 Thank you for answering in Italian(it's ok, used google translate). It differs from circuit to circuit. So far this season 2011 has been faster in Australia(qualifying, pirelli destroy race), Monaco, China. So it's 3-3! Silverstone changed, Valencia and Turkey didn't exist in 2004 and no bahrain in 2011. Let's see in future who is right. Bahrain changed too though. And didn't I say F2002 was fastest if you look relative? I have too admit that you shocked me with your facts!

  • BULL SHYT BARRICHELLO TOOK BACK WUT HE LOST IN AUSTRIA!!! that a boy rubens THAT A BOY!!!

  • michael its last lap, let rubens past for the pr, let rubens past for the pr please michael.

  • Michael let him win. thats thing I never really saw happen back then. but these team orders just aren't good stuff.

  • Michael,Rubens ... is ... faster ... than ... you.Can you confirm that message?

  • @PinoThePizzaman77 yeah, germany last year was horse shit

  • damn team orders, same thing happened in the 2010 German GP as well

  • what is last music?

  • WONDEFOUL MOMENTS,,,THE FORMULA 1 IS THE FERRAR...FORZA FERRARI

  • Rubens deserves this win, but Michael was engineering a dead heat finish to make the first F1 race resulted into dead heat, if that happened at this grand prix, Rubens still have won bec. of his fastest lap.

  • the sound of the engine and commentary at the end of the video is not from 2002, could be from 2006

  • a time where FORMULA 1 was still FORMULA 1

  • @gamber22

yeah, when Ferrari denied the viewers the prospect of its drivers competing fairly against each other like Senna and Prost had in 1988 (despite having the best car by far, like Ferrari in 2002). Or Mansell and Piquet in 1986 and 1987.

Or Webber and Vettel in 2010.

Bullcrap. We have tighter racing today than ever before. 4 drivers had the chance to become world champion in the final race. That is exciting.

  • @gamber22 i m talking about the cars...^^

  • 'The Tag Heuer system is gospel' so why did they replace it for the 2004 season :(

  • Terrible season

  • To be fair Schumacher allowed Barrichello to win Hungary and the Nurburgring that year as well.

  • yes barrichello let schumi pass but schumi gives barrichello for this 2 gp wins also

  • michael said he wanted to try and go over the line at exactly the same time, and he obviously did slow down on the straight.

  • If only Alonso would do the same for Massa...

  • @Kenney1993 Massas lalligaggin around at his own pace..and yes.. Im a Ferrari fan..Alonso would have to park his ride for a good 5 min before Massa caught up, no?

  • Comment removed

  • you want Alonso to make a dead heat with Massa once in a race men? I Hope so bec. the both win! wwwweeeee!

  • @Kenney1993 yeah, but shumacher won the championship before this race... alonso didn't... who wants to lose a championship???

  • Comment removed

  • HAHAHAHAH

  • Schumacher gave Barrichello the win, anyone with half a brain could see that schumacher slowed down on that last corner he was two or three car lengths ahead goin into the corner then he slowed, An he had held him off for ages during the race an he could of held him off for that last corner too, But he had to repay him for Austria

  • michael let rubens win , later he said it in an interview and it was a gift for austria

  • it's such a shame that people completely forget about this race and prefer to focus on austria...

  • @FormulaOneFan4Eva Schumi didnt less rubens win, it was an accident

  • schumacher lost it,,it wasn't a gift

  • I remember crying my eyes out after i learned the result, I was a little kid then

  • i bet rubens told shumi that the team wanted michael 2 go through that's why rubens let him win luckly shumi did the right thing and gave it bk

  • schumi gave rubens the victory for what happen in Austria

(schumacher gave it without team order) he was just trying to say "thanks"

  • the most exciting end ever, only 0.012 seconds was the difference

  • OHHHH my god what for a precision.... at 300KMH he left Barichello 0,012 in front.

    Fantastic!!!!!

  • barrichello deserved this, although this still isn't really good for f1!

  • can some1 tell me what happened? did schumacher deliberately slow down?

  • @weatherallc05 Yeah, He felt bad for the team orders in Austria.

  • i personally dont see it as payback for Austria. The Championship was over here. I can't forgive Ferrari for simply mocking the sport in Austria and at Indy.

  • @DABSOSB

Well considering how dominant Schumi was, even before Austria, there was never any championship fight in 2002.

  • payback for austria :D

  • he give back race A1 RING

  • yeah man i agree with you!!!

  • @kokaiy

yeah but the thing was Rubens was still in the hunt in Austria when the win was snatched from him, Schumacher had won the championship raes before Indianapolis

  • iif ferrari want win money they did write choice in A1 RING if they want make show they did mistake so they chose money better than show , this is life need money for live ,

  • @kokaiy He didn't. Barrichello didn't feel his itentions. Schu wanted go thrue the start line "together" with Rubens but still as a winner.

  • @kokaiy how generous of him.

truthfully speaking, Ferrari disgraced the whole sport while doing these ridiculous acts during 2002 season. You can still have class even if you were dominant, just look at 1988 McLaren and 1992 Williams

  • @MacGovernor l not care what u say lol , lol over 1 years my comment , l have life ^___^

  • idiot

  • A Eso Se Le llama generosidad

  • Rubens barrichello se vingo da corrida da austria...certo ele

  • @jonas4739 barrichello vingou ? essa é boa o cara está 17 anos na formula 1 sem conquistar títulos e voce acha que isso é uma vingança ? hahahaha

  • team orders ruin it, its jst gay and unfair

  • Everyone who enjoys watching this is sick in their heads. You'd never see this with Senna and Prost. Team orders ftw. Poor Barrichello.

  • why poor barrichello? he won this race.. so that was the make-up for austria.

  • This, I believe, is the payback to Rubens for letting him by in the Austria GP which, rightly so, cause a scandal. Like I said, you would have never have seen that with Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost, Nigel Mansell, Nelson Piquet, Nikki Lauder, etc....

  • I think schumacher owed him one for what happened in Austria that year, and gave him one. I still think Austria should be given to Barrichello, clearly he should have won that.

  • @thedoctorand that doent put it right thow im sorry schumacher wanted to make it so that they both won whitch of course is inpossible in f1

  • and then justice was done...

  • that was an AMAZING finish

  • Nope, it was just a make-up for the sham back in Austria (earlier in the season)

  • @justsanthush You say that but Ferrari were in a position to do it... twice. They botched a photo finish, in a sport where it'd be less than 1 in a billion to do so, but the fact they were able to slow down and try it just goes to show how much better they were. And also, statistically for 2002... MS and RB evened up their handovers here, but Rubens would never let that be believed.

  • Some say schumi made an attempt at a dead heat

  • he did, which shows what a cock he is. not even giving the victory to barrichello. he had to be part of the win

  • schumi lo hizo por lastima por la verguanza de rubens en austria 2002

rubens siempre sera el segundo pisotiado dominado

  • In Austria they cheated and in Indianapolis they gave back the victory for Rubens.

Team orders, team orders, always just team orders in Ferrari...

  • And in every other F1-team.

  • The closest finish in Formula One's history of modern era. By 0.011 seconds.

I know Monza in 1971, but they couldn't stop the time accuracy like today. That finish was 0.01 seconds and we all don't know what the thousands of a second has been.

  • ha bet that really pissed off the ferrari team bosses

  • I hope it did

  • what is a song?

  • I believe this was the first F1 Grand Prix that I've watched. Since then, I've watched every season.

  • lol thats a very special finish

  • this made me sick watching it live on tv, just as sick as the austrian gp event, im glad team orders have been banned, well the teams just make their orders look more like racing but the way ferrari did it in '02 was just shitty. before austria schumacher had like a 15-20 point lead over montoya, that was just fucking bogus

  • "Team orders have been banned"?

What on earth are you talking about, since when were they banned? OF course they aren't.

  • they are officially banned but you know.... the teams can do team orders in another way.

  • Comment removed

  • there is a rule indeed that forbids team-order. in 2002 there was no rule like this. but of course.. if you do not make it that demonstrative, nobody can detect team orders.

  • nice video!

  • Schumacher tried to get a dead heat thus creating 2 winners. He failed to pull it off, but it would have been awesome. If he wanted Barrichello to win he would have let Rubens pass earlier. Schu even mentioned in an interview that he miscued the finish line. He missed out by 0.11 of a second. Damm...

  • Like most of you have already mentioned, this was just Schumacher returning the favour for Austria earlier in the season

  • it was have been so cool if the difference was 0.000 hahah two winners for the first time lol

  • that's what schumi tried to do

said he "miscued" the finish line

  • People always complain. This was an absolutely correct move by Michael. Showing grattitude. If he wouldn't have done it, people would complain. Now he did it, and they still complain...

  • i think this order was ..... schumi do whatever you want. ferrari didn't care about barichelo at all.

  • This was just sad. How Ferrari think they can play like this at the Grand Prix events? They were outstanding that season, but why they had to spoil almost every win with this kind of shit? Fuckers.

  • I dont see whats so wrong with it. Barrichello had done Schumacher a favor earlier in the season, MS was trying to show his gratitude, and he overdone it.. but overall it just looks like "Here we are, we're a team and we're good"

It was a nice touch from Ferrari imo

  • yea, almost every one-two finish they had their little photo finish bullshit, how about race to the line then spend your cool down lap two abrest, i agree with you all the way. the greatest season ever for a world champ, schumacher finished every race on the podium only to be over shadowed with their shit

  • i like rubens... his smile is funny

  • This in the desperate attempt to clinch Rubens' 2nd in the Championship, not what they achieved the year before.

  • the team ordered schumi to pass baricchelo it was not his fault but it was good that he let barichello pass in indy wasn`t it?

  • yes

  • That's so cool. ------->VrooM!!!!

  • yeah

  • Wonder how well tuned that Tag Heuer was that day.

and the Walrus-tooth BMW Williams! nice.

  • Schumacher gave him back the Austria win that day. But it's weird, very few people remember Indy 2002, they only remember Spielberg 2002. Strange...

  • lol i remember that, great finish cos im a barrichello supporter :) u remember in france that year the pit crew left him on the jaques at the start of the race that took the piss. his best win i can remember was silverstone but i forgot what year it was

  • Silverstone 2003, when he passed Räikkönen

  • The year Barrichello won at Silverstone was 2003.

  • That happened to Ralf in Belgium as well!

  • I went to that race.

  • damn :|

  • it would be better and less disrespecting if rubens wins the austria´s race and schumy the indianapolis.

  • Humiliating

  • Rubens desereved that after Austria

  • @Immolator32 I agree 100%. Rubens totally won the Austrian GP. So I was happy to see this happen at Indianapolis.

  • @Immolator32 great sports man from michael he pay that win after the austria scandal

  • na rubens had a tooth pick put on his front wing so he'd get first lol

  • Schumacher did that, because Austria 2002. (the order, to let pass Michael for the Championship)

  • At least,a good thing that happened that year with Brazil was the fact that there were two Brazilian victories at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2002 that were the Helio Castroneves's victory on the Indianapolis 500 on the oval course and the Rubens Barrichello1s victory on the F1 US GP on the road course.

  • Has anyone got the video of De La Rosa falling into the river when jumping over a wall in this Grand Prix?

  • Michael did that deliberately because of what happened in austria

  • they have to make it interesting, don't they?

  • oops.. that was kinda funny seeing Ferrari screw up a photo finish.. oh well wonder if that would cost Michael Schumacher his 100th win?

  • 100th win? Schumacher is done, he won't get to 100, maybe if he goes to Renault next year lol
