  • why are they saying 12 it looks like 11 but it must be the angle

  • U fucking haters... So what he's 7ft tall his verticle is like 36 inches... The average verticle is 20 to 24 inches...

  • does he say "are you shitting me?" at 0:26

  • dwight howard is such a tool.

  • This was not a 12 foot dunk. The rim of the alleged 12 foot rim measures halfway up the backboard of the 10 foot rim. The backboard on all NBA 10 foot rims measure 13ft. at the top. So that means Dwight Howard's dunk was 11ft 6in. NOT 12 FEET! Check at 0:10 if you want proof. Also take into account that Dwight Howard has a standing reach of 9ft. 4in.

  • The rim was 11 feet, but that's still an amazing feat.

  • fawk it's sad to see people believing this is a 12 foot rim....

  • great dunk, people dont understand how high twelve feet is.... its crazy

  • r u sure adarqui? i din't know that

  • OK the net was 12 feet but look at the size of Howard obviously he can dunk it. he did not deserve a 50 for that there was no creativity. you may as well give Nate 50's for all his dunks because Nate dunking on a 10 foot net is like Howard dunking on a 12 foot net.

  • I didn't think it was 12 feet then and I don't now. No verification at all.

  • 50 points for this dunk?? that was a shame..

if howard gets 50 points with this dunks, Nate would deserve 100 in each dunk...

  • bb!

  • he shouldve done it higher. that was TOO easy for him

  • its probably 11'6".. the high rim is level with the 10' rim's top of square.. which is 11'6"

    lame.

  • youtube yourself doing it then

  • It doesn't look like 12 to me. May 1 foot or 1.5 but not 24" higher. Maybe it's the camera angle but they should have had a ladder and tape to verify before the dunk to add authenticity..

  • not 12 feet.

The whole contest is a sham.

  • That was 12 feet because the average net is 10 feet high and that was cleary 2 feet higher

  • Rudy the best, Howard sucks! See it at Olimpic Final match.

Rudy`s dunk was much more difficult than Howard´s dunks. Judges kissed Howard ass.

1 word can describe ruby´s dunk : "INCREDIBLE"

  • true THE JUDGES WRE JUST DICKEATING OFF OF HOWARD BECAUSE THAT SUPERMAN SHIT HE CAN DUNK BUT MY MAN NATE AKA KRYPTONITE TOOK THAT SHIT

  • Nate would never have taken it if the Superman didnt let him dunk over him and he pushed off him some kryptonite. Stop hatin on Howard cause your short dude won because he was short. Props to Nate but Howards dunks were hotter than Nates. Anyone can dunk jumping off someones back.

  • But his third dunk was really sick!! I think he should win.

  • Unfortunately not a 12 feet. 11 or 11'6''

    1. At 2007 contest he showed highest reach at 12'6'' - only 6'' reserve. When he dunked here it looks much more than 6'' - smth. like 10-12'' or even more. So the hoop was really 10-12'' lower than his highest reach that is not more than 12'6''.

    2. Only speakers said it is 12 feet. No tapes or smth. were shown when they set the basket and Dwight Howard or anyone else who were there close around said that it is 12.

  • He should of done 14 feet at least

  • this doesnt look like a 12 feet net

  • great dunk.

  • impressive dunk, but no way that rim was 12 feet high. 11 feet tops.

  • That's right.

  • deffo 11ft

  • you are a fucking retart its easily 12 feet look at the basketball net next to it

  • impressive hops :)
