  • Sorry! I completely disagree with your analysis that fruit strips minerals from the body. What is apparent is that people are not adding enough calcium into their diet and you confirm this by telling people to get a ton of greens into them. Telling someone that they should stop eating fruit because it is depleting mineral from their body is misleading you are taking a presumption too far

    and your theory is incorrect.

  • yeah dude get to the point quickly. info not blah blah blah,

  • shut up 1 minute befor you said anything useful

  • @jeremiahrootsr You are so rude. Don't watch this if he talks too much for you.

  • shut up

  • I have had Native American Medicine Men and Chinese Herbal Healers say a 3 to 5 day diet of only one fruit preferably apples , pinapple or pears will detoxify your complete system, but shouldn't be done more than once a month...

  • Will you please list here, in the description, the Top Anti Inflamatory Raw Foods, as this is why I came to your video. Thanks!

  • About 3 percent of your words are useful in the way you present.

  • @pastajimm i'd say 99 percent useful

  • thank you for the explanations! :-) very helpful

  • I'm wearing a sweat shirt. I have absolutely no idea why. hehehe kevin is halarius

  • what about fruit acids dont they make your teeth thin

  • seedless hybrid fruits cause acidic environment.

  • Do not blaspheme it's a terrible sin

  • @ThePearldrop

and you will really piss off Mohamhead.

  • great, thanks..from sydney. :)

  • You don't like the question about anti-inflammatory foods and you name this video top anti-inflamatory foods? I wasted my time to watch something that didn't even address the topic I was interested in. WTF over.

  • @orion411 , duh, he said he DOES like it. Pay attention!

  • too much fruits leads to high blood sugar which causes excessive candida overgrowth...however some good fruits that are low in natural sugar are lemon, limes, berries, and kiwis =D

  • @lllogical and cucumber

  • olive oil is anti-inflammatory

  • @cartex12

That's what Popeye always used to say.

  • Try Wheat Grass and Coconut juice, oh what a feeling! Mangosteen juice is great for oral health

  • remember, eat at least 80% carbs by fruit. If you're not, you're getting too much protein or fats.

  • I am not a Raw Foodie but YOU are my FAVORITe Raw Expert! I learn SO MUCH and I love your laid back approach. I am a meat-eater, feel better when I have it, but I do eat lots of raw greens/smoothies/etc.

I also would highly recommend Coconut Oil, as an anti-inflammatory food. We need Saturated Fats (google this, see lectures by Gary Taubes)!

High carbs are too hard on us, even if it is fruit. You are right on the money! :)

  • There are alot of vegan-friendly omega 3 (DHA+EPA) products made from micro algae. This is important because other omega 3 sources such as flax don't have these and must convert in an inefficient way that leaves you deficient.

  • Now that was info packed! Thanks too for the website hookups! Didnt know they existed before. Awesome.

  • thanks for the wonderful information Kevin!! Keep up the great work!

  • what s the best mineral supplement, if i don t like to eat veggies?

  • A green superfood powder? Have you had those? Sea vegetable powder or flakes are quite good, and very mineralized. Bee pollen also is good and has about 60 minerals.

  • Greetings from South Jersey!!!!!

  • Thanks for the show Kev! Its awsome!! This weekend? Dont know yet..probably sth spontanious ;)

  • Very interesting,Mineral depletion, copper-zinc imbalances, what do you think of this article?

    Google-

    Copper-Zinc Imbalance:

"Unrecognized Consequence of Plant-Based Diets and a Contributor to Chronic Fatigue

    By Laurie Warner, MA, CNC"

I have been researching anti-inflammatory diets and came across it, any comments?

Great show, love the enthusiasm,it's inspiring!

  • only berries and i think watermelon have acidic reaction in the body, every other fruit is alkalizing, more or less...

  • Actually many others fruit are acid forming such as banana, avocado, plums, cacao, and many other things. Many berries are actually alkaline, as well as citrus fruits. Read David Wolfe's 'Eating For Beauty' as it has an excellent chart of alkaline/neutral/acid fruits.

  • "It can create an acidic environment"

Show me the source. Fruits CAN be acidic (lemons, oranges, etc.), but they do NOT create an acidic environment in your body.

Is he talking about someone who eats lemons all day? That would probably mess you up, but eating lots of bananas? BS.

  • Wow, I thought fruits were alkalizing on the body, and contained needed minerals. I suppose I should do more research before switching to a fruit centered diet. The simplicity of fruit held such appeal, now I'm confused! The last thing I want to do is compromise my health. I guess man does not live by fruit alone.

  • Not so, I live on fruit. Kevin is not exactly correct. Don't get worried about fruit. Listen to what more people in the raw food community have to say. Fruit does not necessairly create an acidic environment, especially the alkaline fruits. Acidity is more a factor of meat, grains, nuts, seeds, coffee, refined sugar, etc.. Fruit is really not to blame. Yes, I live on fruits and rarely do eat a salad. Fruit should be out main food, it's what we were designed to eat.

  • very true theres plenty of ALKALINE FRUITS to eat! :] Lime, Lemons even Avocado. but i do SUPER AGREE on the Bone OR TEETH TRANSPARENCY it happened to me.. since i ate only Pine Apple, Green Apples & Oranjes for about 4 months... yea I didnt get sick but now i have transparent teeth.. which i've never had.. now im juicing everyday with Greens and the most fruit i use its Apples to give that kick of flavor.. but using Kale, Green Kale, Wheat Grass, Spinash & such to juice it has Fixed this for me

  • @starseed84 I read your comment so how are your teeth now?

I felt a lot of energy with fruits but dental health is the big issue around them.

So tell me if you still believe it is OK to eat only or mostly fruits?

I personally believe that if you are getting a lot of D vitamin from exposure to sunlight and walking barefoot all the time maybe you can keep doing that a little bit but I'm skeptic.

  • @marioques I had an Aunt tht grew up next to a lemmon grove back in the 20's and 30's and ate them like candy, by age thirty the enamal was almost completely gone from her teeth, but her hair grew well! What's the relation there?

  • @starseed84 i agree that we can eat fruit but were we designed to eat fruit as a primary source? if yes how so.
