@patron6d5 i think this is under K1 rules (yes, i realize it's not K1, but they use the same rules for this fight) which is why sanda fighter can't throw the muay thai fighter. Anyway, the sanda fighter was done for the minute he stepped in there with Buakaw...only a fool would think he can easily take on someone as devastating as the him.
How can this chinese guy Xu Yan hope to beat Buakaw when most of the time he is only using 2 fists and Buakaw is using 2 fists and left leg, right leg and knees ? His body conditioning is also poor compared to Buakaw whose torso and legs looks like they are made of bricks. But we have to give him credit for the courage to fight Buakaw, a world champion.
xu yan can be good if he get well trained. there are no good gym in China, should try the Dutch gyms. government education is shit and rarely effective.

@NinjaAal2on even though i am from Thailand my back ground is Kyokushin Karate cos I grew up in Australia, i have trained with Any Hug who's a much better fighter than the chinese guy. I can tell you that Buakaw did not respect the chinese guy! He gives respect to those who can go the distance with him at full pace such as John Wayne Par. I know more about Muay Thai than you will ever know. Never met Buakaw but have been to the fairtex camp and have met with fighters like Yodsanklai

When I turn on the video, straight way I say, this is Buakaw's walkover. Buakaw could finish him off in the first round. He did not go all the way out.

What are the rules? I have training sanda and muay thai, i think that we can’t say which one is better, i think that the principal factor for that a fighter wins are the rules of the fight, if area sanda rules, the sanda fighther wins, if are muaythai rules muay thai fighter wins. good fight for both.

@patron6d5 i think this is under K1 rules (yes, i realize it's not K1, but they use the same rules for this fight) which is why sanda fighter can't throw the muay thai fighter. Anyway, the sanda fighter was done for the minute he stepped in there with Buakaw...only a fool would think he can easily take on someone as devastating as the him.

How can this chinese guy Xu Yan hope to beat Buakaw when most of the time he is only using 2 fists and Buakaw is using 2 fists and left leg, right leg and knees ? His body conditioning is also poor compared to Buakaw whose torso and legs looks like they are made of bricks. But we have to give him credit for the courage to fight Buakaw, a world champion.

actually buakaw is fighting mostly in k1, that doesn't include elbows and unlimited clinch..moreover sanda is full of many kind of trows wich I didn't see in this match ;)
