one of the best songs of the 40s, ....come to think of it, perhaps of all time, rafi sahib's first superhit song, although he had other good songs before this but this was a raging hit as far back as 1947, songs from dulari, dillagi, mela and deedar came later on. noor jehan's was already the biggest singer in the film industry by 1947
