I don't know if this is weird to say, but imo there is very little that is as beautiful, poetic, and a great picture of humanity as a man struggling against his own body to keep fighting like that. I have no idea why, but I love those parts of a fight. It's like it's sad, but heroic at the same time. I don't know, anyone else know what I mean? Can someone put it in words better?

I'm a boxing expert and historian.WHat comment were you referring to.Remember ,tyson peaked for just a 2 yr period.In that 2 years,only young foreman and perhaps 1966 Ali would be the only 2 to beat him in this frame of mind he was in from late 86 thru early 88.Actually tysons best fighting ability lasted less then 2 yrs.He was using all the ideals damato taught him and the other opponents couldn't even hit the guy,but once he abandoned the defensive aspect,guys began to hit him.

from 1:18 to 1:31 you can see Mike's only real weakness as a fighter even in his prime: he will NOT trade with an opponent and force his way through shots; he'll either use his speed to overwhelm his opponent before they can be set to fire back, or he'll weave under a rushed shot with little power and counter, but he won't brawl

Watch Ali or other great fighter, and they did the same thing. The brawls are when you see 2 unskilled fighters just going at it. Countering, defense, combinations, elusiveness...these are skills you need in boxing. "Brawling" as you define as trading punches is not as important.

@fievel3782 Maybe my semantics were a bit off, but I'm just pointing out that Tyson gets a little too defensive under pressure. And it may not have hurt him against a guy like Berbick. But he is still much less willing to take chances getting hit than other fighters, and sometimes you have to accept the fact that in order to win, you'll have to take puinishment. Also knowing when to rely on your endurance and determination to win when your outclassed skillwise is as important as other skills

@daddygab definitely not the live commentary....I actually don't like this guy, he's overly unnecessarily dramatic...but he's probably got a contract with ESPN....the live commentating was done by Sugar Ray Leonard, and some other white guy....Sugar Ray Leonard says during the first round "Tyson's punches even sound different than other heavyweights.."
