Look, there's nothing wrong with discovering music through GH. I'll admit, that's how i discovered Buckethead, but now, 8 months later, I have over 400 of his songs (25 hours worth) on my iPod, and he is easily my favorite artist of all time. Jordan is a very good song, as is Soothsayer, so don't hate on people just because they like them

He plays everything. He he has no definite sound. However, he's collaborated with the legendary Tony Williams on one of his last albums. I advise you research Tony since he was considered to be the first "fusion drummer". So yes, Buckethead also plays some jazz fusion, as it seems to suit his ability to improvise something demanding on the spot. This tune in particular is funk jazz to my ear.

Wow! I knew Jonas Hellborg did work with Tony Williams, but never knew Buckethead did too. I can see the connections with Laswell and all that.

I don't usually trust when people say "plays everything" or "listens to everything", but Buckehthead does have diverse taste in music. Buckethead worked with some amazing musicians when he first started his solo, before becoming famous. Very impressive. I will find out more about the album. Thanks for that.
