They don't like to have me around because you bring up "moral issues"? Yeah. That and because you're deranged. According to the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the tax load on Americans over the last year came to 9.2%. That's the lowest it's been since 1950. But don't let the facts distract you from your diatribe.
@drumrnva unless you are willing to account for the long-term tax increases and economic damage and associated inflation and removal of personal freedom which is all part of "The Stimulus", which will be paid by the next two or three generations at least, then your figures are a distortion of the truth. You and your Leftist minions are the only ones who mention the color of anyone's skin, and you do it as a distraction from the cancer that is killing our Liberty.
Death panels? Even Sarah Palin doesn't talk about death panels any more.
You guys think you are going to pick up 70 seats?
You tried to keep Terry Schivo alive when she was brain dead? Most Americans don't want the government to make those kinds of decisions, most of us want those kinds of decisions made by the family and their doctor.
The Black Robed Regiment were Pastors who engaged the culture at the time of the War for Independence, and some even went into battle themselves. Up until the 1950s, Pastors in the USA gave regular Election Day Sermons. Once the IRS gagged the 1st Amendment Free Speech rights of Pastors in the 1950s all of that changed, and one can chart the moral decay of the USA as since then. Self-government is a Sacred Trust and Pastors should uphold it.
Actually the 1st amendment protects the 2nd and all the other rights. If you don't believe in the right to choose whether to have an abortion or not then you don't understand the concept of individual rights. This Tea Partier believes in individual rights consistently and realizes that they aren't based on so-called god they are based on your nature as a human being.
@rational1776 Washington and The Continental Army didn't gain independence from England with the devices of the 1st Amendment. Hitler wasn't stopped with press releases and negotiation. If you are in favor of the murder of abortion and euthanasia then it would follow that you are in favor of all other murder if you are consistent in your logic. Your position is not only historically incorrect it is logically inconsistent. Coffee Party is more like it in your case.
I agree with "frepar". The "church" cannot get involved, but individual Christians's need to be involved. I appreciate his passion, but he mentioned nothing about policy. He just sounds like he's leading a pep rally. He hasn't got a chance.
I love this guy. He is a man's man. I do disagree with his caricature of the church though. The church is in the business of spreading the Gospel of Christ, not engaging the culture. The Seeker Sensitive movement tried to engage the culture and weakens the Gospel. Christians engage the culture--not the church. So if he is describing Christians as the church--then yes. But I believe he stresses pastors, thus the church as an institution and I believe there he is wrong.
Im glad to call him friend! Way to go Coach! If you lead people will follow Whether now or later, the truth will prevail among men as Christ speaks through you. Let your light shine brother! We love you here in Idaho!
He says what I'm thinking!!! Way to go!!!
