Come on! (10:50) ok parsec is a unit of space, Einstein showed that space and time are "interchangeable" when the speed of light is constant. that's why we say ... galaxy is ... light-years away (measuring space in units of time).

To people who say that Star Wars is on a galaxy far far away and not about a future earth; parsecs is a unit dependent on the distance of earth to the sun. So they must know about earth or the universe repeats it's self like a "Möbius strip".
