  • that cool!

  • Also, That is Freakin' Rainbow Road from the Final Game.

  • @MetroGamerX That is NO FREAKIN' Rainbow Road!

  • @MetroGamerX it looks like it but it's not!

  • What Program is that?

  • @MetroGamerX NSBMD!

That IS included WITH teh NDS Dev Kit!

  • Found the problem. Add "koopa_block.nsbmd" from koopa_course.carc and it will load without having to edit the NKM file.

  • neo ur wrong test_cylinder.nsbmd is no from Bowser's Castle is from Tick Tock Clock

  • @superstarxalien169 It's from both.

  • @superstarxalien169 It is in both of them.

    Check again.

  • Test Brock is probably the start line, but instead of it in the course model, there is another line that is a cube (test_brock) that is a model and not in the course.

  • @mariokartdsbeta This REALLY deserves a FACEPALM!

  • First of all, what is the song? Second, is there a detailed tutorial for ripping models and exporting them as OBJ files?

  • @8MKWeb8 First of all: Midna from Zelda TP.

    Second: No.

    It is NOT even ripped.

    It is VIEWED!

  • @NeoWynaut Jeez! Don't get so mad! What program did you use to view it then?

  • @8MKWeb8 Nsbmd.EXE

  • @NeoWynaut Thanks! I'll google it later.

  • @NeoWynaut I can't find that program

  • @Luigi12345851 And I am NO download station!

  • @hackiosa Link is in my CHANNEL.

  • I cant find ndstool....

  • @AwEsOmE4938 MY site maybeh?!

  • dam...dude, what are you? the only good hacker in here? youve gotten lots of tracks out of this thing...man...i want an ace card and all that stuff you need to do this already! but im broke...n clueless on how you even find the beta tracks in the first place

  • Open the game with NDSTool for just the data ON the ROM.

For moar advanced hacking use NARCTool, SDATTool, NSBMD, etc.

Note that ALL of them are CMD programs!

  • Maybe you could do one of these track and object videos of "donkey_course" and "dokan_course"?

  • They are too boring too do.

  • OK but at least do a video showing HOW to do it. Because I'm stumped. I can't get the NSBMD viewer to load :(

  • hey, thats odd-thats rainbow road!

  • But little modified.

  • What NSBMD viewer are you using?

I am using NSBMD at it doesn't work :(

  • The one you've mentioned.

However through, I can only get it too work on XP.

  • course_kollision.ncl and course_map.nkm doesn't work x_x

  • So this is why the stage doesn't load?

  • I think so.

    course_model.nsbmd works (tested with other course_kollision and course_map files), but course_kollision and course_map doesn't work :(

  • Because this is an NSBMD viewer, no other files are accepted.

  • The course model of this appears to match that of Rainbow Road. The collision and map of a track have to match the course model. So in theory, if you delete the collision and map from this track and copy those of Rainbow Road, this track might just load. Just a theory. I will test to see if it works. Just wait until next week when I get an R4 to play it with. I will tell you if it works then.

  • Oh, no, wait. It is NOT the same. It is slightly different after the loop.

  • No.

    RR has a hole somewhere.

    This one does NOT.

I do not think this theory will work.

  • Yeah, that too. I was thinking that after the loop in RR it turns right, then comes the hole.

In this one, it turns left then circles over, then towards the barrel roll with NO hole.

    Ah well.

  • Even I did not notice it before.

  • Yeah, it's annoying. Maybe if technology catches up someone will be able to fix the course_collision.kcl and course_map.nkm at some point in the future.

  • OK, I have tried the theory anyway, because I wanted to...

I deleted "course_model.nsbmd", "course_model.nsbta" and "course_model_V.nsbmd" from rainbow_course and replaced "course_model.nsbmd" from test1_course. The track loads without textures, and the track is slightly different, but you can follow it by using the bottom screen map. It looks strange because you are driving in mid air!

Maybe someone could edit the ""course_collision.kcl" to fit test1.

  • I have a new idea. I will ask "mkdasher", because he created new tracks on MKWii. He should know what to do about the course collision and map files.

  • How do you get NSBMD Tool/Viewer?

  • Search the internet.

  • NSBMD viewer.

  • Yes I have it but I only can view the object.

I would like to get a modifiable model!

  • No, it's currently only for viewing.

  • I succefully viewed this map too!

But someone knows how to get it into .3ds or something like this, with textures?

  • .3ds?

    Never heard about that.

  • It's a 3d model format file, used by 3dsmax ;)

  • No, it's .nsbmd.

  • Yeah I know, but I would like to export it as an another model file like .3ds...

  • There is an aplication that allowes you to view .nsbmd.

  • Well, it's useless to play it.

I tried on the Emulator and Real DS, Kiosk and Full.

Results: Black Screen, start up music, then freeze.

  • Okay, this saves me time to do it myself.

  • I don't know, those objects seem familiar...

  • They are really in the track, I tried it too, using NDSTool, NARCTool and NSBMD, it's true.
