I heard there was a program out for them that lets them play retail games without converting them to a retail console.

i hope you know that if your buying it just to mod halo 3 your an idiot plus most of the tools needed to run a dev kit on your pc isnt public wich means you will have to use shitty programs to mod with and if you dont know how to actually use one its a waste of money

The sidecar ('brick') will not work on a retail 360. It is connected to the motherboard using a connector that isn't on the retail 360.
