I by no means know everything about smash, but I have noticed that for every character there is one or a few standout players for that character. Axe as Pikachu, Gimpyfish as Bowser, Taj as Mewtwo, etc. I believe you are a standout Kirby, thumbs up! :D

im not out to be a troll here, but thats just not the same. i mean, ofcourse a like seeing combos, but the way they are started is just like totally whiffed fsmash to brutal slaughter.

If the aim was to make a low-tier char visually very pleasing video, hats off, cause it certainly does achieve that. Just sayin...

Let's take a look at the clip with the f-smashing Fox (arguably the best player in my state at Melee).

After landing a D-air, D-tilt, and f-air, I follow up with a U-throw, and counter his DI with a b-air. This puts him in a vulnerable position near the edge.

Instead of rushing in and attacking, I move in as though I'm going to attack, but pull back. He responds with a jab to interrupt my advance, and follows up with a F-smash...

My feint drew out his F-smash, and having reconized his mistake, he quickly puts up his shield as Kirby moves in to attack. I counter *that* with a jump-canceled grab.

I could go on with the rest of the exchange (the tech, the smash, the dodge, the shield-cancled grab, and the ensuing edge guarding that follows) but I feel I have covered why punishing someone for a whiffed F-smash is *not* something to criticize.

In fact, that is what the entire opening sequence was showcasing.

True. But his unorthodox playing style works well for me. Are you SHFFLing your combos? I cant seem to get Kirby's short hop OR fast fall down.

Yes, shffling is pretty much the only way to combo. Go to Time vs. (no stock, human opponent, Final Destination) and just practice short hopping, fast-falling, L-canceling by yourself. (L-cancel before landing) After you get familiar with that, practice SHFFLing vs a lvl 1 CPU and working dashes into your movement.

A true kirby fan. WOW. Great movie to watch. I guess your guide is worth it. Making someone think that this is too easy, they think you are not good enough to beat them, then you make a huge comeback. Nice trick, but dangerous too considering the fact that kirby's defence isn't good. (although his evasion is)
