I don't really remember the Tennessean, but I did work with the Southern Crescent. I loaded baggage back in the day and rode in the E8's cabs. Knew the engineers on the Division well and all the crews. If you want a "thrill", try crossing thru that little hatch door in the nose of engine at 79 MPH across the couplers! Not so bad, tho. Anyway it was an "interesting" career to say the least. I got to work with the steam trains as well. Now retired. Nice video of Southern + memories for me!
I love this video but I loved your piano ensemble as the score with it. Bring it back and get rid of that corny music it has with it now. Your playing really made the video all that more enjoyable. Hope you' re doing well. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
Great video. I only remember the Tennessean in its last years--one coach and a bunch of head end cars. . . .and they'd adjusted the schedule so that it arrived in Memphis at 2:00am!
@PghTrainFanatic Nick that's a honor coming from you brother!! you have amazing videos and for you to say that about my videos is a real honor!! thank you!!
