What do you do when your young corn snake keeps going under your arm non stop, I always have to restrict its movement otherwise it will keep going till it falls
@Ja93942 I've just finished convincing my mum and she said yes, just tell her that you will have full responsibility of your snake and she wont even have to handle it once, also, ask her if you can get it for christmas with all the equipment you will need
1:57 "which is quite amusing when walking down a hallway with a snake IN YOuR PAnTs" I was so SURE she was going to say that! i'm not a perv, but I started laughing! I wonder if she thought that to..I don't mean to sound like a perv! XD
@tra0607 !- I'm not blind and I've kept snakes for 49 years and this presentation shows proper handling and approach to the snake. 2- obviously you're not an experienced snake keeper or just ignorant not to mention an arrogant prick.
What kind of idiot would put their snake in a tree? Come on seriously that is just common sense, but then again not a whole lot of people have that trait.
its obvious she dont keep it in here she is trying to help new owners of corn snakes stop it with the negative comments she is doing a good thing teaching the new comers to not harm or handle there corns wrong
"In this case, it is simply resting on the bottom" What the fuck do you think its going to be doing? Climbing on that nice branch you put in there?? Oh wait......
why do i need to pick any snake in the world up quietly? They have no ears, they can only feel the small vibrations of my voice. I could scream in my cal king's ear and he wont do jack shit.. * 0:40 for the spot she sais pick it up quietly * And I can touch my snakes head without him getting startled too, allthough I suppose he is more used to it then other snakes, or mabey he reconizes me?
@SMGKINGZmw I would recomend something like a ball python or california king snake as a first, the cal king only needs a large bowl of water, and can have it's cage around 80-85 degrees. But i'm sure if your son thinks he's ready, he can have any of the smaller kinds of snakes. Don't go giving him a burmese python though, large snakes like that are recomended to have 15+ yr old owners, as they can get quite big.
@spartanball10 yeah you can do that mine seems to enjoy it. But if you have long hair it will probably get tangled up in your hair, mine does that just about everyday
@NHULIGUN Not very big, they should grow about a foot a year for the first few years, and it will gradually stop growing lengthwise, and being to grow in girth. If your snake gets too big in size, it may fast for a few months.
man i love snakes....i wish i could kiss my corn snakey!!! hes sooooo cute!! love you!!! i know you dont have internet so your cant read this but i love you anyways!!!:D
How should I handle my baby corn? Shes only about 3 months old, The store I bought it from sold it to us without telling me hold it was. So its still a baby, But I want to make sure I dont drop her or anything. Thanks in advance! ;)
Its a good idea not to let your corn snake out on your floor. They dont seem to like being in a wide open areas. On a flat surface they are quite fast. A good place is on your stairs because mine will climb up the stairs or down them, its good exercise for them.
They like all snakes like to hold on to something or push against something so expect the snake to hold onto you quite alot.
My Corn snake tried to bite me. I think it was my fault because I put my hand in front of his face and he went into a defensive position and tried to bite my hand.
ummmm i have a corn snake and i hangle it very well but it still isnt confortable wit hme and it trys to bite me when taking it out of the contaner whatdo i do
It has teeth but not fangs, and it is very, very rare for them to bite. They are super pets, and if you're thinking about getting a snake I would highly recommend a corn snake.
@CoreyDaNutBrain correction the one above isnt a baby lol wasnt paying attention lol always get a baby thats captive bred because they are all pretty easy to tame just do alot of research plus baby snakes arent expensive or as expensive as adults and corns dont cost much so yea but the enclosures will cost alot more than the snake itsself again just do alot of research and i believe if u love it it will love you :)
just 1 question....if perhaps a person was to get a pet snake....or ANY species of pet for that matter. my only concern for having such a pet is...knowing its a wild animal and all..would it be able to actually form a bond with me? as in not just me form a bond with it but it actually "love" me in return? this is why i dont like having fish as pets o_o
@CoreyDaNutBrain mine seems to love me then again you really dont know but after handling any snake for awhile they seem to get comfortable or actually seem like they want you to hold them but all in all they make great pets and you will be proud of yours when you get it and if you do get one i suggest getting a baby corn snake like the one above or ball python. milk and kingsnakes are good too but the corn and ball are the most popular because they are so docile and friendly so good luck
No, it wont bond with you. snakes become tolerant of handling. they are never "tame". They dont have the mental capacity to be emotionally attached to someone.
@CoreyDaNutBrain my one wants to come out quite a lot, it moves around its cage so i give it a mouse, it wont eat it, i give it more water it doesn't care, i get it out and it just stays on me :)
autum winter season i'll be rockin corn snake underbelly skin inspired by the light/ dark contrast markings of my favorite snake. summer season sun kissed skin will be yellow toned and golden inspiration taken from the corn snake's back continuing the light/ dark theme of contrast.
