Its nice to see them laughing about the old problems. They are in London next week and as usual Ill go and see them. I just hope this incessant touring isn't tiring them out, they seem to be playing somewhere almost every night which must get a bit boring for them.

He pretty much is saying the same thing he has in other interviews - that Cobain had a great 'radio friendly' voice - whereas he doesn't... the interviewer is trying to make the connection between Dino being a big influence on Nirvana - J pretty much says that they were completely different things....
Thats not what he is saying exactly or that's not what the translation in French is saying. He says that Nirvana were more radio friendly, more FM. I guess he means more bland and Id agree with that. Nirvana compromised from day one, teen rebellion packaged for the masses.
Hmmm - not exactly sure that I would say that Nirvana were compromised from day one. Bleach still kicks ass... and going to see them in dingy little clubs pre-Nevermind was pretty exciting... I agree once they were on DGC they were marketed to the masses as teen rebellion, and while In Utero is a return to form - what pisses me off is the cult of Cobain that showed up right after his death and continues to this day... that is what disgusts me, and you can bet it would Cobain as well...
yeah those bleach days were very cool. in utero was a great album. sometimes i wonder what would have happened ha the in utero been the follow up to bleach instead....
