  • And... THANK you for such amazing interviews, Tasteit! I love seeing the way you went from open-minded, slight skepticism, to an open-hearted embracing of the path to knowledge. simply beautiful!

    *will be subscribing*

And Thank you to Stephan for having the strength to be so open and candid in such a public forum. I have long held to my own path, but living in a small town has made my beliefs, questionable to others. I am not a mainstream 'christian' so, yeah...

    Thank You. :)

  • Responding to the vaccine/fear:In America, it's not just fear that we face, it is outright persecution by the medical, educational (yeah, right) and justice communities. Our rights as parents can be taken away and they threaten to take our children if we refuse to allow them to inject our children. Worse there is no help for the parents to turn to as the rights granted in the Constitution have been eroded so harshly since 9/11. Even refusal on 'religious grounds' is called into question now.

  • @hairyfrankfurt... (sorry for jumping in but I just started seeing these, but I've been researching for years)

One can hold the belief/knowledge that they are right about something without having to place a value of judgment on someone outside of themselves. This is a part of using non-judgmental discernment. It is using an open-mind/open-heart approach to peace. Allowing others their opinion/thought is not a weakening of your own faith, but it does serve as a Christ-like example for them.

  • We aren't to judge someone that they are wrong, Stephan's words... But if we think we're right, how could we THINK that other people aren't wrong... Like it's judgemental and really wrong to say "you're wrong" but that thought that i think i'm right about, they must be wrong IN MY EYES... Right?

Another thing he says is we need to spread the Gospel and what is truth, isn't it judgement to say that what we have is the truth?

  • I really love your interviews with stephan, I've seen them all, keep doing them whenever you get the chance! I heard about APOP from Frank Lordi on Revelations radio network and I'm glad I did. I like the natural flow of the interviews where you guys just kinda go wherever the conversation takes you, very cool. Stephan is an amazing dude. Peace, love , and Godbless you tasteittv

  • There are also certain beliefs that deserve more of a public forum based on common sense and basic ethics. A school may invite a group of Holocaust survivors to speak, but the same exposure shouldn't be given to Neo-Nazis. Some judgement is also just part of human nature, a matter of taste and opinion. That's where diplomacy comes in, being able to give your opinion without insulting someone else. Like, "that band isn't really my style, but I'm glad you like them", rather than "that band sucks!"

  • I'm actually not sure I agree, cause I would like to openly discuss any view, there must be a reason why people feel so strongly about something and I think it should be heard, no matter what, and it might make them reflect on things too... I hope I'll get the chance to talk to a person that does not share my views once and maybe even people perceived as evil, just to hear how they think, I think it would be very interesting

  • I agree, all opinions should have a voice, but I still think the positive ones should get greater exposure on a limited forum like TV. Too many of the negative viewpoints are already there and shown only for sensationalism, not as an effort to try and see things from a different perspective like you're talking about. On the internet, though, it can be anything goes! There are (sadly) many white power bands you could interview, but then again, do you want to give them free press? Tough choices!

  • I've just watched this video AGAIN! ^-^ I do miss YOU on camera, though, Bri! I guess the room was too small for a two-shot? As far as the judging topic, I think you shouldn't judge anyone's beliefs unless those beliefs may lead to harm for that person or someone else. Say your friend strongly believes that suicide is the only solution to his/her problems. That may be their real belief, but you are still morally obligated to step in and keep them from acting on that belief.

  • I didn't want to waste time just to put me on camera, I don't really matter hé ;)

I agree that you should step in in that case, but I didn't mean that type of judging, that is a judging because you care. Words are so tricky, but I understand what you mean

  • Of course YOU MATTER! Bri on screen always!!! ^_^ And when you said "judging because you care", it made me think of how even that can sometimes result in disrespect. As a non-Christian, I get judged all the time by people with the best intentions who genuinely want to "save my soul". There may be love there, but there's no respect, and even more than direct condemnation, it's the condescension and arrogance that gets me, the attitude that I'm a lost child that needs guidance from my betters!

  • I think the basic problem is that many Christians believe that Christianity is the ONLY way to truth and salvation. There's never only one way to get anywhere or one way to achieve something. God gave us different cultures, languages, etc, which make the world a more beautiful place, so why shouldn't it be the same with religion? I understand the Christian desire to share your source of happiness with others, but thinking your way is the only way seems more like Big Brother than Jesus to me.

  • I was thinking about this this morning, I NEVER try to say that I know something for sure, because all I know I have been taught and I can never be sure that that is right unless I really examine it in depth, and even then, everything is based on other knowledge that we have been taught, so to really know something for sure, you have to check A LOT of stuff. I do KNOW certain things, like for example if I love someone, those are things I know for sure. I know that God is the only way to truth.

  • The same way that I know I love someone. So there is only one way. But this is my knowledge, I could say, my perception, but that is not really true, because it is a truth, more than a perception. It is the only way I can genuinely believe as a Christian. But, I do respect what you believe and you are free to choose your path and no one should look down on you for doing that. Should we tell you about what we believe, I think it is very delicate.

  • If we don't, in a way it means we don't care, because we know that it can help and we don't tell you. But, if you don't want to hear, we need to respect that. God gave us choice and that is one of the most important things, no one should take that away because I think it is the essence in discovering the truth. And everyone has to discover that truth for themselves at the right time.

  • The way that you talk about it, it seems like you had some people try to force you to believe and that is never the way, then those people (not Jesus or God) are choosing to judge you or look down on you. They might even think they are doing that in good faith. Is it? Personally I think it's not right, but that is not up to me to judge, I think I can have my opinion, but I can't tell them to change, they also have to make that choice themselves and I have to respect whatever they choose.

  • It's not easy and it is so easy to misunderstand, misinterpret,... i can only speak for myself when i say that I try to do my best and do things based on love, knowledge and searching (the true values in that book - at least from what I have read and understood up till now) I think (I hope) the difference is visible between someone who does it out of love and someone who does it to be right and prove someone else wrong.

  • Great interview. And I really needed to hear this, the sort of mental mind-slap of... "love your neighbor means... love your neighbor".

    Thank you!

  • You are welcome, I am very happy he said that, it's such a simple, basic phrase, but everyone needs to be reminded of this true meaning :)

    :-)

  • Great how you inspire Stephan to let his mind wander! You listen to him, draw conclusions and suggest new theorys.

  • Thank you very much :)

I feel that is the only way to really do an interview with a real artist, the only way to reflect the essence of the music. Songs aren't Q&A so interviews shouldn't be that either. w stp it's cool cause he is really open to that.

  • 15 minutes of pure badass awesome interview! Brigitte does it again! Great job! <3

  • Thanks :)

  • Lovely interview, I'd have watched it just for your delightful accent when you're speaking English! :D

Haven't gotten to viewing your other interviews yet, but I'm sure I'll get to it sometime.

Maybe after I've gotten my flu shot... (that was one of my -many- lame jokes right there :P)

  • But good point about the (Mexican) flu shots, I've never had a flu shot and I'm not getting one this time either. If I get sick, big deal. The way people seem to be blowing the flu out of proportion reminds me of mass hysteria. Regular flu kills A LOT of people too EVERY year you know! And suddenly people I know that are very unlikely to die of ANY kind of flu, are getting a shot. One of the smartest peopIe I know loathes these 'vaccins' and I trust him on this.

Keep up the good work! ^.^

  • I will try my best with my delightful accent ;-)

    Thank you!

  • Thank you for another fantastic interview Brigitte! My understanding on the whole judgment thing is that you only judge if you consider yourself free of that thing you are judging them for, like you can't judge someone for lying if you're a big fat lier yourself. But Stephan makes a good point, don't judge someone for their point of view if they are fulfilled by it and it makes them happy. Then again, nobody should do something in order to harm another, not sure whether you judge them or not...

  • well, I have read that we should never judge, that's up to God. And I am really trying to do that and never say someone is wrong, but it is not easy because I also want to protect others from being harmed.

But I think if you have respect for all people involved and their believes, it will automatically work out, because that person who inspired me to ask that question is also a loving person and it's because of him we are discussing all this and learning :)

  • Very true, respect is essential, but it's hard to help without being somewhat judgmental and disrespectful.

I have so many questions about these kinds of things, it's very hard to judge whether we are doing the right thing, especially since we aren't to judge! I don't know if that counts, but it's still complicated.

  • I think that is most important, the fact that you are questioning, I really think that is the key to discovering everything. The fact that we question brings us closer to real knowledge.

  • That was a great interview! Its quite relieving to hear someone who as a thought pattern close to yours. Also I thought I'd say you're very gifted in what you do. Thanks for posting!

  • Thank you! Thanks for watching! :-)

  • Another great interview....ahem I mean conversation. I think that is why I adore your 'interviews', they are more of a chat...and of course w/ STP it goes on another level w/ his faith...he's doing what we are called to do :)
